This is pretty cool. With the paddle, you could have a middle "dead zone" where no rotation takes place, any place out side of that rotates the tank left or right.
I just tried the Arcade64 build, and it's a lot better. Sure, took forever to read the ROM list, but games were playing. I think even the GUI got cleaned up a bit.
The season finale of RCadeRadio is playing. I'm right now listening to a story of an arcade cab purchase from some sketchy individuals. This is reminding me of the retail horror stories episode of Now You're Playing with Podcast. It also reminds me of the episode of Breaking Bad with the ATM.
Sometimes I'm reminded of The Brady Bunch movie where they do the talent show(this is set in the 1990s) and they do this weird 1970s variety show number. This could very well be Atari waking up in a changed video game world.
So they are going to try to sell it for near the price of a PS4 or Xbox, which are more powerful than than what's proposed? That's going to be a hard sell.
I'm back in business. A friend gave me her 160 gig iPod. It was in bad shape. 22K tracks, tons of duplicates, and lots of ripped self-help books on CD. It's playin' my music now(after some work). She has a 16 gig iPod she also has.
#RescueIPod.
A potential new podcast may or may not have arrived!
240p Club
Latest episode(released this month) is about arcade experiences. Their range is from the 2600 to the PS1, so this might be hopefully a Nintendo Switch-free 'cast. I found this one on Google Play, already subscribed(forgot 'bout it until I opened the app)
I'm reserved at the not Hilton(heh). I'm pondering taking Amtrak to not have to deal with downtown parking. Sure, no fun road trip, but I can play on my tablet, etc all I want for 6 hours there + 6 hours back. Cost-wise, it's about the same.
There's a neat little community that hacks the storage for ipods that I discovered when my 160 gig died. It was neat to see the SD options(dual even).
But how did you get yours open? I opened it once before, but.....
Already booked my hotel at the Hyatt. I understand it's pay parking per day, but it's a small price to pay for way more room. I'll miss the walk to the shopping mall for food, but it looks like there's plenty of food options around the convention center.
I did unzip the file, which gave me a .DSK file, but JS99er didn't know what to do with it when I mounted it on DSK1. It came out as 1 big file instead of a bunch of individual files. ALso tried the pc99 version to no avail.
