    I've no worries of emptying my wallet as I'm only bringing a backpack with me. I was able to purchase a Atari keypad + a book and stuff it in before leaving for my flight. Or I'l take option B: bring clothes I don't care about, toss them when they are worn, to free up valuable backpack space.

    Check orbitz and the acutal hotel website you're on for. The Jupiter Hotel I went to directly booked cheaper than on Orbitz. Weird now the price has jumped up per night compared to several years ago when I went(2014)

    Meta: A friend got kicked out of where she was staying, and she's staying here with me + her dog. What's so meta about this? Her 160 gig iPod she almost never uses. I want it. It's a 160 gigger!

    I remember wanting to hit up TRU near me in Bloomington, only to find it closed. There was another TRU in Roseville, but they turned into a Babies R Us. I can't even hit a TRU for a quick toy fix it seems. They are mostly for parenting supplies.

    So with no central bar like at Midwest Gaming Classic, where do all the attendees go for a drink after the show has closed for the day? I went to a few(with some podcasters) bars the last time I went, but that was a long time ago. I know one of them was a creepy Lovecraft-like bar that was kind of fun, and super chill. I still need to figure out what to do on Thursday when I get there. It's a free day to myself. I want to see the former feminist bookstore that was on Portlandia.
