  1. Yes, its v1.9.0 of the original (which I own) - the last public one being 1.5.1
  2. Yes, I am. I also updated the sale list to indicate only 1 Alpine left! Got a text from home to say it was delivered today. Might have to leave work early to get home and set it up Congrats! Can't believe I completely missed this thread. Ah well. Well, I still hvae one left. Songbird, Have received Alpine and Jag Dev Console - Fantastic condition. Many thanks for making it available to buy. Looking forward to many hours of developing. Best Regards, SubQMod.
  3. If memory serves, the title screen for I-War was at 640x240 resolution. It was..... Pinball Fantasies into screens also have these
  4. Haven't had a chance to try these two binaries on a real jag but ran them through my emulator. The first works ok but the very hires one has highlighted some issues with the emulator. Still impressive resolutions for the jag. hires.bmp

  6. SQM, it should by now be apparently clear that these guys will do anything not to work hard or pay for something. I never see this on any other forum unless there are serious pirating activities going on. You wont see this nonsense at JSII. Thats why I post more at JSII
  7. Really wanted to go this year but unfortunately is clashed with my birthday on the 6th. When given the choice of JagFest UK or the girlfriend its a tough decision. Hopefully next year it will not be around the 6th and I can go. Maybe if it was a bi-annual event?
  8. Gorf has made it clear what his objections are and I am surprised there is still so much back and forth regarding this. As a developer his concerns are fair enough. What I still find interesting is all this discussion about a product that is not even on the market yet. As a product that appears to still be developing, many arguments, concerns etc have been put forward to the JagCF team and I think they have made it clear what their intentions are. No further arguments, rational or irrational, are going to change things from what I see. *IF* the JagCF ever makes it to a saleable product then I am sure we will go through the weeks, months, years of this continued disagreement. Personally, I will not buy one as I have an Alpine and am going to spend my time writing new dev software for the Jag as BrainStorm do not wish to release the code.
  9. Thanks for sharing - Interesting Interview. Got my copy of the early Jaguar Documentation by the Flare team so its nice to make the links.
  10. Good ol' Blighty for me (although I lived a few years in Canada)
  11. Thanks for trying Gorf and thanks to Midway. Sounds like they did indeed go above and beyond for you on this one.
  12. How am I a hypocrite for trying to stop someone from copying a game I had to pull off the market? I think I did the right thing. I made my mistake and corrected it. My mistake was an honest one for anyone objective...but Fredrik/Deranged/Jag4House or whoeevryou really are, you are the hypocrite becasue you actually condone such bullshit. You trully are a coward hiding behind aliases. This very piracy issue has already put Gorf on the cancelled list for good. There is no way am I going to be subjected to lawsuits becuase of of bunch of low lifes who can't do the right thing with other people's property. Testify Brother !!!!! So many projects are being pulled, held back or cancelled because of exactly the type of crap that Gorf is talking about. Ultimately, this could pull all the good programmers/teams underground or out of the game all together and none of us will benefit from their talents.
  13. If you need any help setting it up, once you get it, I'll be happy to help.In an ideal world having both a STUB/Alpine and a BJL and Protector/SE and JUGS is recommended for testing. The register setup for each of these can give subtle differences in behaviour on occasions! It's good to check on the STUB version of the Jag too, as an older STUB ROM will dislike your stock JagCD. Cheers, JustClaws. Thanks 'claws.... I believe Songbird is shipping today so hopefully won't be too long now to wing its way across the atlantic..... Excitement builds......
  14. PM'd you regarding any Alpines left. Is it possible to mod the boards to 4MB?
  15. Give Dio's T2K emulator a try (http://www.medwaypvb.com/llamadloads2.html). It emulates Tempest 2000 almost perfectly. Try out the program. Very well emulated. I just wished the author of the program can expand it to include many other Jaguar games. Is there an working Jaguar emulator? Last time I check all the emulators didn't really work too tell (well you can blame on the hardware issues of the Jaguar). No you cant blame the hardware...any emu writer worth his salt can emulate even buggy hardware. You can blame it on emu writers writing Jag emus based only on the official docs. There is more to the Jaguar than even the docs can tell you. Those whom have tried so far have not completed or just plain don't know how to complete the current two or three out there. MAME only emulates the 'used' parts of cojag games just enough to make the apps of interest run. The docs told us you could not run GPU code or jump to from main RAM. That is not at all the case. I think alot of the trouble with the jag emu's is that there are games that do run code in main RAM but they are simply set up routines with no jumps. Im willing to bet none of the jag emu's considers this. I am also willing to bet that the hardware priorities are not correct either. Has anyone run Surrounded on a Jaguar Emulator succesfully? There is a ton of main code jumping going on there. The whole game runs on the GPU out in main except the renderer which you want running in local for speed. The 68k only wakes up once a frame for about 20 cycles to handle the vblank. I've not tried this on any emus as of yet. On running surrounded.... a) Project Tempest 0.95 fails with a DSP Issue b) Virtual jaguar 1.0.7 does not support headerless .BIN files c) Jagulator 0.1.0 is running the code but not displaying - There are still issues in the new Jagulator relating to the GPU, DSP and blitter so maybe soon this will be sorted. I can also confirm that Jagulator does indeed allow the GPU to run code from main but Gorf is right in that hardware priorities are an issue.
  16. Have gotten Virtual Jag to work on Mac OS x (G4 dual 800 mhz) and a 2.3 ghz IBM based machine. Both of them I got Bubsy running, and both ran at about 60%. Either the code will optimize, or the computers will get faster. Jagulator seems to be more oprimized from what I gather, but has a lot of emulation bugs still to work out. The original is best. The latest development release of Jagulator does indeed run up Fight for Life but is slow..... ffl.bmp
