  1. Here I am. The Italian collector is me. I had asked Intellivisioner to "spread the voice" about my will to sell my stuff, and I didn't expect he was about to post here. :-) Reason why I'm selling my stuff: I am soon moving elsewhere for a living, so I have decided to "get rid" of the stuff I won't take with me. I am keeping my CreatiVision collection, which is my pride. I will sell my duplicates and "unwanted" stuff. This includes CreatiVision consoles, cartridges, peripherals and books; a boxed Atari 2600 JR; the boxed Intellivision Master Component with games you see pictured here; a Colecovision with peripherals; a Philips VideoPac G7400 with a bunch of boxed games, etc; an Italian "pong-style" game named RE-EL 401; a microvision; a few handheld and tabletop electronic games. I will do my best to post pictures here. Sorry for not posting earlier, but I had a crazy weekend and very little time to set the lists and pictures. This is the set of pictures of my "Atari 2600 Jr. Rev. A (PAL Italian version)" console. Brand new, almost never used. It even still has the shop receipt. It also has an additional Atari 7800 controller, which I'm giving for free. Good night!
  2. The information provided is more than enough for my purpose According to the data in my possession, in 1983 VTech released the following items ordered by their release date: VZ 200 (Computer) Nuts (Technovision game) Save Our Ship (Technovision game) Pharaoh's Curse (Technovision game) Music Maker (CreatiVision game) Soccer (CreatiVision game) Joysticks (for the Laser 2001 computer) Laser 110 (Computer) Music Maker (CreatiVision game, Funvision variant) Soccer (CreatiVision game, Funvision variant) CreatiVision MK-2 (Console) Chopper Rescue (CreatiVision game) Super Soccer (Tri-Screen electronic game) Locomotive (CreatiVision game) Backgammon Master (electronic game) Chess Master (electronic game) Gamate 3D + Formula 500 (electronic game prototype) ...... The list is all but complete.
  3. Thanks much for the precious information! I need a few additional pieces of information: - About the boxes. The code printed on the flaps always ends with -00, this means that it's the very first version of the box. I see 2 box variations per game on the "Atariboxed" website. Which version is the one with -00? I suppose it's the standard cardboard version, similar to the CreatiVision game boxes. - About the manuals. Do both the English and German manuals have the "© 1983 VTech/VTL" copyright notice on the last page? Or do the German manuals have a different company name credited there, or a different year (for example 1984) ? - Are the German manuals included in the "standard cardboard box" with the additional white/red sticker reading "German manual inside", which is also in common with the CreatiVision game boxes ? - One last question: is the © printed on boxes and manuals always set to 1983, or are there any items reading 1984? @ Schitti: which information do you need? I would gladly help. Thanks very much for your precious help!
  4. Hello again. I am still waiting to get any information on Techovision games, especially the codes printed on the last page of each manual (starting with 91-) and on the box internal flaps (starting with 90-). If anyone out there has any boxed games by Technovision, please drop me a line. I am trying to complete the database of VTech releases. Thanks in advance
  5. PS: there's also Clockmeister's version here: http://www.users.on.net/~clockmeister/CV/index.htm
  6. Hello, I'm the author of that multicart. It's long-time sold out, but I still have copy n. 1 to sell. Not sure when I'm selling it anyway. By the way, if you join the CreatiVEmu forum, you'll see that there's an Italian guy who has recently manufactured a "replica", and I know that he's selling it for cheap. You should better join the forum and send a message to that guy. This is the thread: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=146
  7. Please prior to sending me any pictures, send me an email. I will then reply and include a "how-to" and a couple of nice pictures I shot/I got from contributors, which you can use as "examples". I dont want you to waste your time taking pics which I won't be able to use. As for the code, if your box is complete, it's printed on one of the internal flaps. This is typical for every item printed at VTech's. Thanks
  8. Wonderful report and wonderful pictures indeed! About the typo: the hardware was manufactured bh VTech in Hong Kong, they probably hired some French translator and they didn't care much of the typos. Similar typos you will find in many VTech products. :-) Would you kindly tell me which code is printed on one of the inner flaps of the tape deck box? Should be in the form 90-xxxx-yy. And which "copyright" year is printed on that box? 1984? I mean the box of the DR-30. Lastly, I would make great use of your pictures of the "DR-10" tape deck as well as a picture of the power supply (if it's specifically made for that tape deck). Would you kindly send me an email to lucantignano AT gmail DOT com, so I will tell you which sort of pic I would need. Your pic will be published on the CreatiVEmu website.
  9. it would be great to get information and pics on every variant of the laser 100/200 series. i am interested in getting the "codes" printed on the last page of every manual, and inside of the box (flaps). they help me understand the timeline of vtech's releases, which is helpful for my creativision project
  10. AYEEEEEEE!!! What the hell is that magazine?!?!?!?!? I absolutely need to have full scans of that magazine. I am part of 2 projects: - CreatiVEmu, the website devoted to CreatiVision and Laser 2001 - Retroedicola, collecting gigabytes of scans of Italian computer magazines from the 80's. I have never heard of that magazine series, I really had no idea that VTech published magazines here in Italy. And I read "year 1 - issue 6", so they even published no less than 6 issues wow!!! I'm also the lucky owner of a FD100A floppy disk drive, unfortunately it lacks manuals, so the article printed on the magazine would be of great help to me. I'm now sending you a PM, so we may arrange for some scans eventually.

  15. A disassembler... hmmm no I don't think there's a specific one for CreatiVision. I presume a normal 6502 disassembler would do the job, doesn't it?
  16. The CreatiVision version has random mazes.
  17. @Omega: wow! Do you think the source has anything to do with the CreatiVision release, which could be found on ROM format here: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/roms.php Screenshot here:
  18. Thanks for the info staberinde. I already visited Atarimania, found the information and played the games. But I still miss information and detailed pictures/scans of boxes and manuals, as well as the codes printed on pcb, game box, manual, etc.
  19. No boxes of Stone Age for CreatiVision surfaced yet. A friend of mine knows a guy who owns the boxed game, but never sent me the pictures so far. How sad.
  20. Who owns the original boxed games? I would love to swap information with him!
  21. PS: anyone knows who's the owner of "The Atari VCS 2600 PAL project" database, and would put me into contact with him? The database shows pictures of the game boxes, manuals and cartridges. Maybe they would help me by sending information.
  22. Hello, I was pointed here by a dear friend who's watching this incredible thread. Incredible to me, because I'm very much involved in CreatiVision, being the webmaster of the CreatiVEmu website (http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu) and having recently bought CreatiVision games sealed in Technovision shipper boxes (!). I replied to an old thread here, so I please you to also read my impressions and request/offer for information: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/219852-technovision-ntsc-roms-manuals/ About Stone Age: it was *officially* released. I own the Finnish version of the cartridge. Sadly, it's loose. And in the past I had the CreatiVision cart here, for dumping purpose (the picture above comes from my website). But a Finnish friend of mine knows a guy who claims to own a complete collection of boxed games, including Stone Age. I'm still waiting to get pictures of the game box. Didn't get them yet Please feel free to contact me anytime to swap information on this matter!
  23. Guys, I'm the webmaster of the main resource for the CreatiVision, the console made by VTech (aka Video Technology and VTL), that's the manufacturer of Technovision games. I recently came to know about the connection between Technovision and VTech. A few days ago I bought CreatiVision boxed games still sealed in shipper boxes, reading "Technovision" on them. From further investigation here on the Atariage forum, I noticed that Technovision game boxes have the same size as CreatiVision game boxes, as well as manuals. And they even share the same "Instructions in German" sticker on the boxes for German releases. Impressive! I'm willing to share all the information in my possession with you. What I really need is pictures and information such as codes printed on manuals, boxes, cartridge PCB's, etc., scans of promo flyers, etc... I have a quite detailed database of VTech releases, but many items are still missing. Let's join our efforts to solve the puzzle of Technovision and VTech releases. Please contact me via PM or via my website: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/
