  1. Kurt, I'm *honored* to put your binary in CreatiVEmu website I'll also include the source code, or you can send me an updated and "clean" version, if you want to. 2. Well, maybe except for this one: createst.bin (Yes, it's me again... note: the BIN file above is for Creativision emulators, not for the Atari 2600 this time) Hey Kurt, do you want me to distribute your demo through my CreatiVEmu website? I thought it was private for me only
  3. Yes, go to the "downloads" page. There's emulators, roms and screenshots of every game and program

  6. Yes it's very very nice. The joystick-based membrane keyboard could be "upgraded" to a full rubber key keyboard. All you had to do was: remove joystick wires, put the keyboard in, and then connect the joysticks to the new keyboard. Very smart! You can view all pictures of keyboard and console. Download the "pictures ZIP archive" for console and keyboard, from http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/releases.php
  7. Multicart is now READY! We're currently building the first lot of cartridges for shipping! More infos and pictures to come soon
  8. We're unable to ship carts yet: the PCB producer is now on holiday, and we couldn't get PCBs before closing time. Everything else is ready: numbered cardboard boxes, manuals, plastic case for cartridges, EPROMs, overlays, stickers, etc... New scheduled release date is Sept 20th. All infos at: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/multicart.php
  9. Hey y-bot, would you please send me a PM with the list & prices of creatiVision items you're selling? Also, if "size" is a problem for you, you can order a copy of my Multicarts, so in 1 cart you have 26 different ROMs!
  10. Confirmed! Multicart will also include the obscure BASIC 1982 R2!!! Read this: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=110061
  11. A lot of great news and contents in my CreatiVEmu website. ROM dumped * BASIC (1982 creatiVision version, revision 2) CreatiVEmu site updates * pictures from the ultra rare "reissue cartridges" in tiny orange box, © 1985! * scans from a lot of very rare Australian game cassettes * scans from around 20 new game and hardware manuals/boxes/cartridges/overlays Multicart news * we're almost done with it... scheduled release on July 25th * now also featuring the newly dumped Basic 1982 R2 * price is confirmed at EUR 42.95 (equals to US$ 57.95) Useful links: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/ (main site) http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/news.php (news page) http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/multicart.php (Multicart info and pre-order form)
  12. we're almost done... around 2 weeks more, and we'll be ready to ship carts! ...and *maybe* we'll be adding another revision of the BASIC ROM, making the multicart include 26 ROMS, not 25!
  13. Hi Marc, your pre-order has been added. Check your mailbox... Thanks
  14. Not knowing creatiVision is a problem with American guys, since the system never shipped in the USA, but was sold in Hong Kong, Europe, Australia, South Africa and Japan only. It's as powerful as a ColecoVision (except the CPU which is a 2MHz 6502 instead of a Z80) and, AFAIK, it shipped even before it. It was engineered in 1981 and hit the markets in early 1982. By the way I wouldn't suggest the wikipedia creatiVision page, since it's very poor of informations. I suggest you to look at my "History" page, with tons of infos and unreleased picturs/documents: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/tech.php You can also try the newest FunnyMu emulator, which I released 2 days ago (it's for Windows and comes out with a nice interface with screenshots and games infos). Get it from the downloads page, as well as ROMs: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/download.php Have fun
  15. We're about to complete the first ever homebrew for creatiVision: MULTICART 1.0 includes all existing games, programs and a few rare additions in a single EPROM chip. All infos on this thread: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=108262
  16. No you're wrong. Funvision was PAL, and it's a clone to Rameses sold through Hanimex. Both were sold in Australia. The NTSC version of creativision is simply... creatiVision, and it was released in Japan. I have one boxed (present of a dearest friend, who owns one too), and I'm not 100% sure it's NTSC. I need to build an adapter for the Power Supply, and test it shortly. I can tell you that the Japanese version is powered by a DC adaptor, which is different to other models (Italian, Australian) having AC adaptor. If you want to see pictures of the Japanese creatiVision, jump to my site: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/ -> go to the "Releases page" and download the Jap pictures. On the site you'll find around 150 sets of scans from boxes, carts, manuals, etc. Furthermore, I also released a new version of the FunnyMu Emulator for Windows/Linux, the graphical interface, and a bunch of new (very rare!) ROM dumps. We're also accepting pre-orders for the MULTICART, a single cartridge featuring all existing creatiVision games and utilities. All infos on the site.
  17. Here we are. The creatiVision MULTICART is ready to go into the "production phase"! We're accepting pre-orders (this helps us know how many people are interested in getting one). Please jump to this thread: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=108262 Enjoy!
  18. After 2 months of hard work, the MULTICART is almost ready to enter the "production" phase. All prorotypes we built work 100%, the graphics layout is ready, the moulding factory is currently producing the first samples for the plastic box... and we hope we'll be ready to ship the carts on July 30th, 2007 (maybe even earlier!). We're accepting pre-orders now. This is something about creatiVision MULTICART * numbered edition to 100 copies only * features all existing games and programs in a 8 MBit EPROM-based cart * full colour cardboard box with cardboard cartridge holder * cart with true plastic box, specially made to be compatible with all creatiVision models * 12-page manual with the same look as the classic manuals! * 6 cardboard joystick overlays for use with the included games and software * scheduled release is July 30th, 2007 * price is EUR 42.95 (equals to US$ 57.95) Useful links: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu (Main site) http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/multicart.php (Multicart info and pre-order form)

  20. Hmmm, I don't know a whole lot about the creativision. Maybe I'll just pick up a cheaper clone system. clones: Dick Smith Wizzard (only available in Australia... get ready to pay an enormous sum of money for POSTAGE!) Hanimex Rameses (good luck finding one, I personally never seen it on auction) VTech Funvision (much more good luck, I don't even ever seen a PICTURE of it!!!) I suggest the Dick Smith Wizzard... good luck on that too ...creatiVision is a damned console for collectors, believe me!
  21. very nice site but it lacks most of rarity marks and there are no "side labels" for carts. Also, manuals are not fully scanned there... Either way, what should I do if I discover I have some carts not listed on AtariAge and AtariMania too?

  23. I may be picking up a creativision by the end of June then:) you should start searching a cV asap then, and I hardly believe you'll actually get one copy before June - it's quite rare finding nowadays!
  24. I do have something to say about the CreatiVision! It's hardware is *not* similar to the one on Intellivision. It's actually almost identical to the ColecoVision except the CPU, that's a 6502 running at (wow!) 2 MHz, while the ColecoVision used a Z80. CreatiVision was engineered in 1981 and used the absolutely best available hardware at those times: 32 on-screen sprites, 256x192 resolution at 16 colours, 2 MHz clock, 4-channel audio hardware, full embedded keyboard (cheap-style actually but could be expanted to a full-moving keys version), 2 joysticks with 16 directions + 2 side buttons, etc. It was actually a hybrid computer/console: the keyboard could be used with the BASIC cartridge, which is told as being done by Microsoft. Additional tape recorder/player (1 channel for data and 1 channel for audio - used to listen to instructions while loading game), I/O expansion, printer, 16K memory module, etc. Games could be up to 32KBytes each and are not "crap" at all. Yes most of them are rip-offs, but some are quite addictive and offer interesting variations. For example the Pacman clone can be played by 2 players simultaneously! You can find all infos, ROMs, manuals, my version of the FunnyMu emulator + interface, tons of scans, manuals, boxes, and a full cv-story on my site. Site: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/ History: http://www.madrigaldesign.it/creativemu/tech.php I'm currently designing the sole and only creatiVision multicart, hosting all existing ROMs in a single 1MBytes chip, carton box, manuals, overlays, etc. Will be ready (hopefully!) by end of June.
