This is where I got my prices.
http://www.rarityguide.com/genesis_view.php
How much would you guys pay for the whole combo system with all the hookups? maybe all the controllers too as one lot.
I have both Lunar games. I double checked. Silver star is 60, but Eternal Blue is $120.
I don't have the digital press guide.
-
Only 3 of the games are loose and 3 without manuals, but still with the box. 4 are used from blockbuster, so they come in those yellow rental boxes.
-
I don't have the boxes for the systems. I do have the Genesis manual.
Castlevania and contra are both worth about $50 cib. Lunar for sega cd is worth $70 cib. T-mek, Kolibri, and Knuckles Chaotix for the 32x are all worth $50 cib. The sega cd ram cart is about $50 as well. Moonwalker is also almost $50. Almost all the games are cib.
I have over 100 of these games, so I can't list them all right now. I'm still gathering everything to get ready for auction.
I do have all the cables.
I also have the justifier light gun, an incomplete menacer light gun, ascii gamepad, sg fighter stick, capcom soldier controller, genistick, arcade stick, and turbo touch controllers as well as the standard 6 and 3 button controllers.

I was recently going through my old stuff and came across my sega stuff. I have many genesis, 32x, and sega cd games. I was planning on putting it all up for sell.
I was able to find pricing guides for the games, but not the controllers and consoles themselves. Anyone know where I could find that info? I have the genesis model 1, sega cd model 2, and 32x combo. All omplete with all adaptors and hook ups. I was planning on selling it as one whole unit instead of chopping up and selling each separately.
Also, what's the best way to sell the games? As one big lot or separately? I have a few games that are worth between 50 and 70 bucks.
Thanks for any help I get.

What about a rock star boxing game? Alice Cooper, Axl Rose, Slash, Blackie Lawless, or Zakk Wylde and Ozzy? That might be kinda hard to make look right though. It would still be a fun idea though.

I second the idea for adding Bently Bear and ET. Maybe one of the dragons from Adventure would be cool.
-
Is the rom available for this one to try on an emulator?
-
Sounds like a cool game. Could use some sound and a little more variety though. 100 rooms seems like a bit too much especially since you are only looking for 3 runes. I just played a few rounds and never even found a rune. I Think the cops take away a little bit too much health for running into so many of them and there being so many rooms. Maybe if they shot at you instead. Just my opinion.

I like the ideas for the four towers. The wizard idea is cool. Maybe an alternate would be to let the wizard powerup let you shoot horizontaly as well for a limited time after you touch it instead of teleporting. Any updates?

Repo was an awesome movie. Wish I could see the stage play. A game based on repo would be cool. Go around reposessing body parts for genco and rack up points for bigger organs and such.

Cool. I'd definitely like to be added to the list when the buttons are available. I had another quick question. I heard that the stick is moddable and you can add up to 10 buttons total. Would it be possible to get a booster grip and wire the buttons on the booster grip to the controller? Just curious.

I was just looking at this again. I just noticed the death animation. Very cool looking. Any progress?
-
ANyone from Full Moon video ever show up there? It would be cool to see a puppet master game for 2600. Or any system for that matter.

once I get them to be at a point where I feel they significantly improve button feel and performance, I will put them in envelopes and mail free to anyone who is willing to put them upgraded silicone buttons in themselves.I got mine earlier this week and I am happy with it, though I also feel the fire button to feel a little "mushy". I was wondering how easy/hard will it be to replace the button? I don't have a soldering iron or anything like that. What will be needed to replace the button ourselves.

Legend! You get around sir! I liked Damit Dungeon.Yeah I do get around. Musician/board game designer/ artist/beer drinker and hellraiser. lol. Hopefully I can add 2600 game programmer.
You played my original game? cool. Glad you like it. Did you play both the 2 player version and the solo version? You try Mortuum or Shrine? I think I posted links in the same thread on BGG. I gotta re upload them though. Maybe give them their own page on the geek.
ANyways, I'm still working on learning the programming. Hopefully have something playable in a month or so. I hope the game translates well over to the 2600.
I'm also working on another pnp game. There is a thread on the geek. It' called Dark Valhalla.

I read it wrong. I have 1.4 open gl with an intell 945GM express chipset family card. gateway laptop running windows xp professional edition. Centrino duo processor. How do I upgrade to opengl 2.0? I've been searching, but haven't had any luck yet.
-
how do I upgrade my open gl to 3.0 so I can use the crt simullation in stella?
-
Still tinkering with learning bB. Reading the manual and whatever tutorials I can manage to find. I'm not going to post anything until it's playable.
-
Yeah it's for the pc. Pretty fun. It takes the basics of the original and just adds a couple interesting twists that stay within the original flavor of the game.

Evil Dead theme, but I think adding in Freddy and Jason actually takes away from itThe idea is based on the movie that almost got made and the comic book they did make.

I'd probably change the name though. It's a little stale. I think it's just a fun idea. No reason to be taken all that seriously.
-
I also especially liked the part on the first screen the video shows where the player has to jump on platforms like the bridge is crumbling.
Here's another video that shows more differences from the original. Some really cool ideas.

I've been reading the manuals and tutorials for about 3 days now. I am starting. I've created several board games before. I always spend a lot of time planning before executing. Just the way I do it really. And of course, the programming is more complicated to implement and requires more than imagination than physical component mechanics.
I was also thinking of a re-theme. Instead of the generic fantasy setting, I was thinking...
Freddy vs Jason vs Ash.
The player would be Ash. The sword would be the Chainsaw. The treasure would be the Necronomicon. THe shield would be the "Boomstick".
The dragon would be Freddy. THe thief would be replaced with Jason and just be made unstoppable, but avoidable. The goblins would be Deadites. The bats would be winged Deadites. THe potion would probably stay the same or maybe change it into something a bit more campy like beer or a hot chick that could make Ash "feel better" to heal his wounds. The rope would stay the same.
Just gotta figure out what the setting would be instead of a dungeon. Suppose a cabin at Crystal lake would obvious, put not sure how to explain the pits and maze like structure. Unless of course it was in Freddy's dreamworld.
A couple of the main mechanics would probably have to change to go with this theme idea.
I'm gonna finish the bare bones mechanics of the game before I add the theme into it. BUt was wondering what you guys think? Generic fantasy dungeon romp? Or campy, wise crackin, chainsaw wielding hero vs undead and horror movie icons?
Btw, anyone wanna comment on what they think of the game idea? If it sounds fun at all? I'm gonna stick with it and make the game anyways, but just curious of what others think.

THat sounds pretty cool. I'd really like to see the vertical aspect of the game. Maybe even make it look like nighttime outside the castle.

Has anyone else seen this remake of Dragonfire?
I wonder if this would be possible on 2600 with the new levels and ladders?

What homebrew for what system?
in Homebrew Discussion

I saw a post somewhere else either here at atariage or another site. Either way, I don't seem to be able to find it again. It poses the question of what homebrew you would like to see and for what system?
Personally I'd love to see a 16-bit port/new Bionic Commando game for either the Genesis or Snes.
