  1. Well, if someone could leave a negative just because they didn't get a feedback, there would be alot more negs in the world. But all this aside, although feedback is good to get, it's not mandatory. I have been "shortchanged" if you will, by about 10 or so feedbacks. Oh well, nothing I can do about it. I still think that you have nothing to really worry about. People will see the neg to pos ratio and take that into effect. Also, if they do read the negative, and see if it was a retalitory one, they will take it as that. As long as you don't get any "real bad" (don't know what else to call it) or numerous negs, I wouldn't sweat it. Some people just like to leave negs because that's all they know how to do. Or you can do what I did, make a "about me" page and explain each neg on your feedback. Feel free to check mine if you want.
  2. Thanks peeps. I have been looking for this for a while, and I was very sure that I was going to be sniped at the very end. Now, I just need to get it....
  3. Seeing how Scrapyard Dog is pretty much difficult to get anymore (having been sniped out of other auctions at the last minute), was this a good final price for one in the box? I remember the other ones going for more than this one.
  4. Just thought you would want to know that that link is the Taz cart, not the Frankenstein.
  5. Well, that's a tough question. With that total, it's like $2.00 a cart, not that bad; I've seen worse, I've seen better. The seller could also be trying to recoup from the low winning bid. The 3 games are really not that rare. I think the shipping is kind of high when you first hear it, but compare it to the $0.06 bid price..... It really comes down to "how much you are willing to pay for it". I know that's probably not the answer you want to hear, but, in my mind, it's the truth. Ask yourself if you feel comfortable with the total. I probably wouldn't have bid on this mainly because of the very bad picture. You can't even tell what carts they are since Matell didn't use pictures. But, again, the final decision is yours since you are the one holding the money and the one needing the carts.
  6. I have a spare Planet Patrol for sale/for trade. I thought I'd post it and see if anyone needs it since I collect many many sort of things so a trade is not completely impossible. Let me know, I'm sure something can be worked out.
  7. Yep, clearly looks like the seller is trying to recoup his loss. But it is just that, his loss. If he didn't want it to be sold for that low, he should have put a reserve on it. I would figure out the shipping on your own and quote that to him, along with the link. I sold a NES system with games about 6 months ago to an APO box in Afganastan that didn't cost that much, came close, but not more than that.
  8. Try this forum. It's a little old, but I remember this coming up before. And I don't see the 7800 FAQ updated to reflect this. http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.p...0+second+button
  9. I would love to have this, but, just don't have the extra cash.
  10. Good idea Bratwurst, I do agree. But I think Moycon had a good idea about making a "clean" thread with people's "talleys". The idea I got from his was a "feedback" form of thread. I'm not even sure if that is possible. Maybe the Al's or the moderators may have a better solution, otherwise this thread could get to the point of being unreadable without going through MANY pages.
  11. Adding ahector to my list of traders. Received her end of the trade without a hitch.
  12. I think it would be a good idea. I would use my son's pic. It would be like those baseball cards, Hershey bar wrappers, fake money, etc. that you can get your child's birth announcement on. Used that way, I think it would work. I am definately interested in one.
  13. I have the following for sale/for trade: 1) Game Genie, with disc, manual, and USB cable 2) Rechargable battery pack with charger and extra battery 3) Carry zipper case with plastic inserts If you could use either or both of these, let me know. I also have a flip light/cover that I'll throw in for free, if you want it. If you want pics, I can e-mail them. But I will also post the pics here when I get home tonight. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks.
  14. Crossbow, they even had a SNES (boxed) for $24.99. I didn't pick it up though.
  15. Here's what I can remember: Screen 1: Touch the "rainbow" ghost as many times as you can to collect arrows. When you reach a certain amount (25???) you'll go to the second screen. Screen 2: Shoot all the creatures: bats, man, mummy (watch his axe) until no more are left. Screens 3 and 4: Search each casket (merely walking over them) for crosses and candles. While doing this, avoid the moving "wall". When you have searched every casket, go up the stairs. After Screen 4, you'll appear in the tower with your friend in a cage and dracula coming after you. Position yourself so that dracula is above you and yet directly underneath the open cell on the right. When he is above you, push the button to activate your cross. Dracula should turn white, and hopefully, you'll trap him in the cell. Escape with your friend and watch the end scene. I probably missed some things, but it's a rough idea of what needs to be done. I haven't played this game in a long time, and I'm going on memory here. But I hope that this helps.
  16. You might want to try Electronics Boutique. They sell used DC's $29.99 that have a 90 day warranty but they do also offer a 6 month (no questions asked) warranty for $6.00. They have all the hook-ups needed and one joystick, but no games. I have seen games there for as low as $2.99 and up. Try one of those (they might be more online, not exactly sure) if you have any around you. I was in one this weekend and they had about 20 or so Playstations, about 20 N64's, and about a dozen DC's, all of which are $29.99. If there are none around you, let me know and I can probably pick one up for you.
  17. ummm.....one word comes to mind: PROOFREAD
  18. Another shot: Gordon Lightfoot - The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald - 1976
  19. Hopefully you'll get the payment now. Just make sure that you record it in their feedback. ie "slow pay" or similair so other sellers know. Keep us up to date.
  20. Oh what the heck. I'll give it a shot. Anne Murray - You Needed Me - 1978
  21. ahector, I was wondering if we still had a deal for this system? According to your last pm, it sounded like we did.
  22. Well, I guess you could re-list it or offer it to a second chance bidder. Because in the e-mail that you get from e-bay when you file the NPB, it does say that "the seller is under no obligation to hold the merchandise since so much time has passed" or something very close to that. It's near the very bottom of the e-mail when you get it.
  23. The only refund you ultimately get is the final auction fee. To even get that, you have to wait 10 days after filing the NPB warning. After the 10 days have past, then, and only then, can you file a request for the refund.
  24. Just follow the steps on this page . Whatever you do, fight the urge to send any kind of "threatning" e-mails. It could be viewed as harrassment. Just stick to the rules on that page and you'll do enough damage as well as leaving the neg will do. I know, it's frustrating. But unfortunantly, these types of bidders come up.
