Pitfall Harry is swinging onto the next-gen consoles
lonesome_pa replied to paul's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Oh, and let me guess that the Village People are doing the soundtrack with the main song being "Men In Tights". -
My current collection is: Atari 2600 Atari 7800 Sega Genesis GameBoy Advance

Doesn't that buyer sound familiar???? Check this and this one out.

AM i the only one that doesnt get this???
lonesome_pa replied to chromizone's topic in Auction Central
I would ask the seller how long after the auction it would take to receive my free x-box. If there really isn't one, well then, it's false advertising. Clearly something to get views and gain attention. -
Question for those in the US I've traded with
lonesome_pa replied to AtariLeaf's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
If I recall, it took about 1-1/2 to 2 weeks to get a box of 7800 games. I know it was before Christmas, but after Halloween, but can't pinpoint it exactly. Hope this helps. -
I'm looking for a lightgun that's compatible with the 7800. I do have some carts (pretty common) to trade, but I am also willing to buy if the price is right. If anybody has one to spare, let me know. Thanx

FA: Venture II-Treasure Chest Edition-ALPHA-First one made!
lonesome_pa replied to Snider-man's topic in Auction Central
Ok, question here. In the auction it states that there were "5 pre-production carts" and when you named them only 4 names were mentioned, "alpha, beta, gama, delta" what was the 5th cart's name??? I could be missing something (it is early and I'm still waiting for my coffee) and was hoping it could be cleared. Thanks. -
Well, I have the following to offer you: Sorcerer Air Raiders (white label) Dolphin Human Cannonball Towering Inferno I don't really see any game that you have that I want, so, what comic books do you have to trade?

Bcprs1, I could use that manual if no one else claims it. Let me know.

What would you do about this eBay buyer?
lonesome_pa replied to holygrailvideogames.com's topic in Auction Central
Yes, the fact that he has been bidding and leaving feedback when he was supposedly "away" and also the fact that your auction clearly states "All sales are final". But, also, just because the post office said it was delivered doesn't mean he necessarily got it. Was it mailed to a PO box or a physical address? Maybe the post office considered it "delivered" by placing a card in his box. But the fact he has been leaving feedback seems to say otherwise. Also, like Mrretrogamer asked, was it tested before listing and/or mailing? If so, sounds like someone trying to pull a fast one. -

Got to love it. I also noticed that the high bidder on the Frogger game is also the high bidder on my Frogger game auction. Hmmm.....possible problem???? I'm hoping not.

I can't believe this "contest" is still going. I gave up on it awhile ago. Hmmmm, I'll guess 69

Ain't that the truth. Got to love that blast of foul air when you open the box or envelope. Almost makes you keel over.

Cool effect. I like it.

This may sound strange, but try Gamestop or even stranger Walmart. I saw one at Walmart about a month ago for about $5. You can try thrifts, but it's chancey.

It is how it should be. Alot of people here helped me out alot and I'm just trying to return the favor.

Hi FOSHIZIE79. I have an extra copy of Galaxian I can send you. If you pm me your addy I'll ship it out to you. The only thing I ask in exchange, is to remember this transaction and help out another collector in need in the future, when they are looking for a game. Gamers helping out other gamers. The way a community should be.

I'm currently looking for a light gun that will work with the 7800. Would like to trade (mostly have 2600 games and a few Genesis games) so if you have one you would be willing to part with, send me a want list and let's see what we can do.

Does it seem like prices are dropping slightly?
lonesome_pa replied to Hank's topic in Auction Central
The Colecovision ac adapter is QUITE heavy, so it would cost more to ship that system compared to a 2600 system. When I sold mine, it cost me around $13.00 to ship first class, what being very well packed too. -
Reliable places to buy 5200/7800 systems?
lonesome_pa replied to Brad2600's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
He didn't really say the condition, but I'm sure you can ask if you order games. The games I got were in great condition with great labels. -
Reliable places to buy 5200/7800 systems?
lonesome_pa replied to Brad2600's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I haven't bought systems from him yet, just an ac adapter and games so far, but the orders were very well packed and arrived very fast (2 days). According to his site, a 7800 comes with one game, but nothing is mentioned about the 5200, so I assume no game. I don't believe that they come in original boxes, but I could be wrong. Why don't you just try to e-mail him, or even telephone him your questions. He gives his telephone number on his page.
