First release of Resident Evil 3?
lonesome_pa replied to King Atari's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Yes, I believe the demo disc is the first release. Then followed by the Playstation, Dreamcast and then Gamecube. -
IIRC it was supposed to be for some lottery add-on. I think it was a lottery......

I picked up another NES deck at my local thrift on Saturday. It was marked $2.49 with no hook-ups or controllers. But it did have a game inside. I closed the lid and brought it to the clerk. He rang me up and for under $3 I got another deck and one game. What game you ask???? Stealth. OK, a cheap game literally and figuratively. So you ask what's the great find?!?!?!? Well I didn't get to clean up the deck until tonight and that's when I found it. That's right, that little compartment on the bottom. I usually open it up when I clean the decks (inside and out) and there it was.......no, not a roach.......but 2, yes 2, $20 bills rolled up. Whatcha wanna bet some poor kids savings, or someone's drug money. Oh well, I just made $37. I'm happy!

looking to buy/trade: Duck Hunt and Zapper Gun
lonesome_pa replied to lonesome_pa's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I've been checking around for weeks. Every thrift and yard sale I could find. But nothing. I used to trip over them at my local thrift but now that I'm looking, I can't find any. Sure, I could go eBay, if I want to pay like $10 in shipping if not more, which is ridiculas. But two people are hooking me up. Thanks to everyone for the offers. -
Looking for an extra copy of Duck Hunt and an extra zapper to bundle together with a spare NES I have. I want to give it to someone for a b'day present. So, if anybody has a spare one of either laying around, let me know. I don't have much to offer in trade, or alot of spending money, but I'm sure something can be worked out. Thanks.

As the title states, clearing out some inventory. Check out my auctions . I'll probably be adding more so check back often.[/url]

"Believe, but verify" That's a saying we use in our title company. Believe it to be real, but verify the existance. In other words, post some pics and more people would believe. A lot of claims have been brought up in the past to find out they were false. But if this is true, then you'd better sit back and count your blessings as that was a once in a lifetime find.

GameCube Games Wanted. Trade?
lonesome_pa replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Well, I don't have a Playstation, sorry. But I'd trade for other GC games, 2600 games, and SNES games. -
I'm thinking about getting rid of this set. It all depends on if people are interested. here's what's available: N64 System with official Expansion Pak, one controller and hookups. also the following games: Deadly Arts (boxed) Jet Force Gemini (boxed with intructions) Micro Machines 64 Turbo (boxed) Super Mario 64 (boxed) Forsaken 64 (boxed) Pokemon Stadium (boxed with transfer pak) Star Wars Episode 1 Racer (loose) Resident Evil 2 (loose) Starfox 64 (loose) One memory card and the best part: a Dexdrive (boxed, complete, and working) If anyone's interested, let me know. Thanks.

GameCube Games Wanted. Trade?
lonesome_pa replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I have a Big Mutha Truckers, Dragon's Lair 3D and Spyro Year of the Dragonfly that I'd be willing to part with. Spyro is a rerelease while the other 2 are originals. Also, depending on what you have for trade, I might be willing to offer up an Eternal Darkness, now that I finished all 3 scenerios. Make a list and let's see what ya got. -
I might be calling it the wrong thing. I'm looking for the artwork that goes "around" the screen.

Backgrounds are what I'm looking for. There's a few games I have that aren't listed there.

The ones I have are from mame.net. I'm trying to figure out the other site.

Anybody know a site or have some artwork for games I could have. I found a few on the net, but some don't work correctly and some I couldn't find at all. Thanks in advance.

$122 to ship a TI 99? Yowsers!
lonesome_pa replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Auction Central
Simple. It's called inflation to cover any loss the seller may get in bidding. Jack up the shipping costs. I received a boxed TI along with a dozen or so games and it only cost about $15 and change, IIRC. -

We can work something out.

I wouldn't say that. Have you seen Resident Evil 2? It has CD quality video and sound. And has everybody forgotten about Paper Mario?? Granted the N64 is probably not the best known Nintendo system, but I also wouldn't call it the "black sheep" I think that honor would go to the Virtual Boy. I would recommend the N64 also for nostalgic reasons. It is the last cartridge based modern system made. Although it's library might not be as vast as the NES, it does have some treasures, as mentioned above, plus a quite a few more. Personally, I'd choose the N64, or even better yet, both.

Was there really a need for a 2nd thread?? You already had one started.

NES consoles are like $10 a pop maybe $20 if it has a new 72 pin adapter installed. AFAIK, the games aren't that rare, a couple of bucks each. But good luck selling it.

Tested and works great. If interested, make an offer here or in pm. I'm trying to raise some cash for my son's b'day. I'll probably be posting more in the near future. Thanks in advance.

Well I have up a Super Buster Brothers, Solders of Fortune and Exhaust Heat. Exhaust Heat is a Super Famicom game that will work perfectly if you use a "modified" Game Genie. You can modify your system, but the Game Genie is much easier and less permanant. If interested, make an offer here or in pm.
