  1. wow, thanks for all the help guys! i know this is kind of annoying, but i really appreciate it. i looked at all of the screen shots posted (except one that didn't work), and none of them are the game. And although this was like 20+ years ago and my memory may not be totally correct, I think it had better graphics than all of those posted. We had a few ataris when i was a kid, and at the time I didn't pay attention to the models (although i know we had a 2600 cause who can forget that awesome fake wood detailing). we might have had a 7800 also. I tried to draw a schematic of the game, as best i can remember it. i did it in powerpoint so it looks like hell, but hopefully it can spark someone's memory. it scrolled horizontally and if i remember correctly it scrolled from right to left (so you flew the airplane left on the screen). this is weird cause most games go right to left. also, i think you had to fly through obstacles and/or other planes, possibly shooting (?). i remember i liked how you had to maneouver through the stuff. also, i tried to draw the airplane as I remember it. thanks again!
  2. i looked at all those games, and it's not any of them. actually, it had much better graphics, and i'm now thinking it may have been a 5200 or 7800 (although i don't remember having one of those). it definately had better graphics than those games tho. any ideas? and thanks again for the help!
  3. hi, i had a game when i was a kid that i want to find on eBay, but i can't remember the name. It had a white spaceship/airplane thing and you would fly it around and shoot stuff. the screen scrolled. i used to call it "GI Joe" when i was a kid cause that made it cooler, but it wasn't called that. If I remember correctly, it had a different color cartridge and maybe it was longer (maybe it was unlicensed?) than the standard cartridge. any help greatly appreciated!
  4. hi, i've played with NES emulators in the past, but i have a couple of working old toasters and 200+ games, so i've never really needed to get serious about emulation. last week, however, I realized that I could also run Famicom games on the new NES emulators. I've got yume kojo: doki doki panic and the original super mario 2. I've always been fascinated with famicom games, but have no expereince with them at all. Can you guys suggest some games that would be a good introduction to famicom? like classics, etc.? Also, I just found this forum last week. I'm a huge fan of classic gaming, but my hobby has been confined mostly to garage sales, flea markets, classified ads, and eBay. This is a great site, glad to have found you all. cheers
