There's lotsa hidden chests in the final section, so at least you can grab it right there. Beware though, there's some climbing part right at the beginning of the final continue spot, where it's better to not(!) open the first hidden chest - just summon it (to advance the content sequence) and then ignore it. It is usually a weapon and you may accidentally drop down later, right onto it, losing the crossbow in case BTW: The game hasn't unlimited continues, after a while the number will drop if you not collect enough gold sacks I think. Overall still the easiest game in the series though

X-Men - Children of the Atom (PS)

What a weird balance in this game. Silver Samurais shuriken does so much chip damage - I beat the game with him on my first try -

Phew, seems I finally managed to improve my minimalistic "use only 25% of Omega Reds moveset" fighting style far enough to beat the game once again Kinda interesting, Omega Red was the only character so far who got some kind of "special" ending sequence on the Playstation. While all the other endings before were basically talk|talk|talk|talk|explosion, he got an additional scene grabbing a carbonadium synthesizer. Next in line is the Silver Samurai. IMO the weakest character in the hands of the AI, lets hope not in mine as well (Unlike Omega Red he at least has a projectile attack... ) -

That would be cool, indeed - but it's no problem certainly. I sometimes think I should have a personal trainer for fighting games -

That's kinda what I meant as well. Usually those kind of things magically just come on their own if I play the same character over and over for a while. I actually know some of those moves that work with Omega Red, albeit so far it doesn't help much. About the only really usable moves he seems to have are Strong Punch, Strong Kick, his Throws and the Omega Destroyer, all his coil moves just feel either 'unreliable' or 'complicated'. But well, last night I saw Magneto for the second time, so there's still hope -

I know that, but I kinda prefer having a good game with an intuitive playstyle rather than working on / memorizing combos. Yet if I figure something out, like some infinite or near infinite moves to finish the AI, I'll exploit that without regret -
You can improve the # of ending choices via playing Multiplayer games IIRC, but I got all options through playing the story alone, by gathering *all* races under my command.

I agree regarding Iceman, but I still managed to beat arcade mode with him by spaming avalanches I'll give this a try, although I'm generally not much of a 'combo' player -

Oh my, I'm not getting anywhere with Omega Red. I'm playing with him for two weeks now and often enough I don't even make it to the Juggernaut - I only saw Magneto once so far I guess I'm too weak a player to figure out how all of his strange moves operate properly -
What Xbox 360 game are you currently playing?
Cybergoth replied to moycon's topic in Microsoft Xbox 360
Downloaded Space Invaders Extreme today, which is quite addicting -
I couldn't play God of War so far, since my PS2 won't play dual layer games, but ~ a week ago I picked up the God of War Collection from "Essentials" series. And I just finished the first one now. Quite entertaining I must say, can't wait for the second game

Hi there! I wonder if there is an easy way to transfer a PS1 savegame onto the PS3? Could I for example possibly just move the savegame via PS2 USB onto the PSP? Greetings, Manuel

What PS3 games are you currently playing?
Cybergoth replied to HammR25's topic in Sony Playstation 3
Just bought the God of War collection today. The games are probably quite good, but for a false start did the "Plus" code that did come with this "Essential" version not work, which makes me quite angry at the moment - I could've gotten Okami HD for free this month... I wonder if it'll help calling a Sony Hotline tomorrow or if it's just hopeless when such a code doesn't work... -
X-Men - Children of the Atom (PS)
Cybergoth replied to Cybergoth's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Hm... I'm playing the PAL version on a PAL console, that might make a difference. I didn't try it on the PS3 yet, since I don't have a Fightpad for it. On a sidenote I just beat the game with Psylocke. Compared to Wolverine that was a cakewalk. I think from the 6 "good" characters she's the best by a mile - at least in solo Arcade mode Next I'll play with Omega Red, I hope he's as fun to play as it looks. -

Oh the miracle of deadlines! I just beat Magneto with Wolverine in what was supposed to be my very last try BTW: I find it very cool that Wolverine can fight against the Silver Samurai in this game - gets me hyped for the upcoming movie! -

Yeah, it was the first one-on-one fighter Capcom did featuring Marvel chars I don't know if that's a specialty of the Playstation version, but I also thought that it's quite lame to play with that activated. It's a quite prominent option though, you have to choose between 'automatic' and 'manual' before every single fight. I actually considered buying a Saturn, but all (5 or 6) Capcom games that made it to Europe are available on the Playstation as well, so I thought it wasn't worth it. CotA in particular had neither version ported by Capcom themselves, so it doesn't really matter I thought. I must say it looks quite lazy though, e.g. it seems they basically filmed the intro and the ending from the Arcade, as on my HD they show significantly lower quality (compression artifacts) as the actual game... I have better versions of most of the other games you guys mentioned though: MvC Origins and Darkstalkers Resurrection on XBLA and Street Fighter Alpha Anthology for the PS2 -
Hi there! This is a hard as nails game that's keeping me busy for over two months now already I think it took me almost 4 weeks of daily practise to beat the game the first time with Storm, then I needed a week each for mastering it with Iceman, Cyclops and Colossus. Currently I'm in the third week already playing with Wolverine... Mind you, all played on "default" difficulty with manual blocking so far. I think Wolverine might be a turning point now: I set up a deadline until Sunday - Should I not be able to beat Magneto over the weekend, I decided to give in and turn down the difficulty a notch Last time I had to do something that desperate for my Capcom run was when I upped the # of starting lifes (5 -> 7 IIRC) in order to 1CC SonSon Arcade... Greetings, Manuel

A couple of days ago already I beat Puzzle Quest for the PSP

I can recommend the original SFIV Fightpads from MadCatz. Their current production run (I think SFxT branded) is approx. 30% smaller and I prefer holding the bigger ones in my paws Otherwise I still didn't start into the game, since I'm currently still playing "X-Men: Children of the Atom" and don't want to mess up my skills before I've beaten it with all characters
