I wholeheartedly agree with #1! And Solaris is great too, indeed, even when stealing the place here that'd rightfully belong to Galaxian -

Yay! Millipede is one of the Top 10 games of the system as a whole! -
Top 30 Vertical Shooters for the Atari 2600 #6

A childhood favorite, but it hasn't aged that well for me. It's quite limited in what it actually does and maxes out quite fast. Certainly Top 10 stuff in the given context though. BTW: Most of the time I played the versions where your shots are synced with the ship, so you could 'guide' them into the target -
Completed Heavy Rain in ~ 2 days. Great atmosphere in this one, after the slow start I couldn't put it down once the story kicked in

Loading Times What is the Slowest and Fastest
Cybergoth replied to Classic Pac's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Not loading times in particular, but when I get a new PS3/360 game I usually insert it before going to bed, so it can do all the installing and updating over night... Even after fully installing Mass Effect 2 on the 360 I still had to swap disks several times during play, which kinda reminded me of my C64/Amiga days. (I remember playing an Indiana Jones game on the Miggy that shipped on 11(!) disks. Quite a PITA, even with my 4 disk drive setup ) -
I'm a gamer. I play anything any time. From the 2600 to the Wii U, give me a good game and I'll play it

Beamrider and Millipede on Top! -
Mega Man once again, I just finished Mega Man X2 for the virtual console Capcom games beaten in 2013: Knights of the Round, The King of Dragons, Breath of Fire II & Mega Man X2
-
I finished Shadows of the Damned today. It's another fine game from Grasshopper. Playing it I had a lot of fun from start to finish, albeit it's clearly no match for their masterpiece No More Heroes series! (In fact I've become such a Grasshopper fanboy, that I just ordered Flower, Sun and Rain for the DS, even though I think it will most likely suck )

Fingerprints notwithstanding

PSN is down here since two days (first day was scheduled, since then I assume it's catastrophe management... ) , so it might be the cause for the loooong update -

Cybergoth commented on Thomas Jentzsch's blog entry in For whom it may concern
If it wasn't that bad in reality I could almost laugh

Kann es Spotify? Ich wollte meiner Frau ein Spotify fähiges Küchenradio zu Weihnachten schenken, hatte aber nix unter 150 Euro gefunden. -
Capcom Arcade Cabinet (XBLA/PSN/...)
Cybergoth replied to Cybergoth's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Well, what I got from "Asking Capcom" at least wasn't just a plain "no" http://www.capcom-un...-arcade-cabinet -
Playing through one of the greatest JRPGs of all time, I beat Breath of Fire II (GBA version via GC) twice during the last couple of days to get all three endings: the bad one, the sad one and the best one This is a game everyone should play at least once in their lives! Capcom games beaten in 2013: Knights of the Round, The King of Dragons & Breath of Fire II

Capcom Arcade Cabinet (XBLA/PSN/...)
Cybergoth replied to Cybergoth's topic in Modern Console Discussion
MMAC unfortunately didn't make it to Europe, hence their release with Arcade Cabinet would be their first official release for us Well, they could've done that on the virtual console already. Gargoyle's Quest II, Demons Crest, SonSon 2, Streetfigter 2010, Mighty Final Fight, Sweet Home, etc, etc. There's tons of games that either require an arm and a leg to purchase or got never released at all. So many wasted opportunities... -
Capcom Arcade Cabinet (XBLA/PSN/...)
Cybergoth replied to Cybergoth's topic in Modern Console Discussion
CPS1 games that haven't been released so far are: Dynasty Wars Willow U.N. Squadron Carrier Air Wing Nemo Mega Man: The Power Battle Warriors of Fate Cadillacs and Dinosaurs The Punisher Saturday Night Slam Masters I fear that, just like before, Capcom won't invest in the licensing though, so Mega Man is probably our best bet. Another early game that might be an option is LED Storm aka Mad Gear. I think it's just *one* free game - presumably Black Tiger.
