  1. I don't embrace downloads either, but if it takes something like "Ghosts 'n Goblins Rearmed" to get the franchise going again, I'll bite the bullet.
  2. Not at all disappointed - I don't even see a reason buying it so far.
  3. Hi there! Here's your chance to officially tell Capcom what you want from them: http://www.capcom-unity.com/sven/blog/2012/12/20/we-need-your-input Greetings, Manuel
  4. Still 400K away from a green light. I'm considering the Deluxe Boxed Edition, albeit @ 130 Euro that's quite expensive...
  5. PSP has the definite version of FFIV and its second God of War game is also pretty good
  6. I just beat Cave Story on Wiiware. It's clearly one of the best games on the service, albeit with a Metascore of 89 significantly overrated - it's really good, but certainly not on par with Metroid Fusion, Super or Zero. Something around 80% would be a more appropriate score I think
  7. I just played through Goof Troop which is surprisingly deep for one of Capcoms Disney games. In fact I'd say it's probably the best of them. I especially loved how they revisited the "Pirate Ship Higemaru" gameplay here. It's also a lot of fun in co-op Capcom games beaten in 2012: Bionic Commando, Legendary Wings, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Mega Man 2, Last Duel, Duck Tales, Strider, Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Forgotten Worlds, Tiger Road, Black Tiger, Gargoyle's Quest, Chip 'n Dale - Rescue Rangers, Little Nemo - The Dream Master, Mega Man 3, Final Fight, Mercs, Mega Twins, Block Block, Three Wonders, The Little Mermaid, 1941: Counter Attack, Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Talespin, Mega Man 4, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix, Magic Sword, Darkwing Duck, The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse, Mega Man 5, Mickey's Dangerous Chase, Quiz & Dragons, Varth, Eco Fighters, Aladdin, Breath of Fire, Final Fight 2 & Goof Troop
  8. Phew... that was one to bite through... I finally finished Final Fight 2 (Virtual Console) on extreme difficulty for the best ending. I think it possibly was the worst Capcom game I've completed in my chronological run so far. Even if one was actually worse, it most definitely didn't take that long... For some statistics, I reinstalled the Nintendo Channel just to see my Virtual Console playing times (in hours:minutes). Here you go: Son Son: 25:02 Final Fight 2: 22:12 Ghosts 'n Goblins 11:35 1942: 7:56 Mega Man 5: 7:54 Exed Exes: 2:18 Black Tiger: 1:40 Commando: 0:52 Capcom games beaten in 2012: Bionic Commando, Legendary Wings, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Mega Man 2, Last Duel, Duck Tales, Strider, Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Forgotten Worlds, Tiger Road, Black Tiger, Gargoyle's Quest, Chip 'n Dale - Rescue Rangers, Little Nemo - The Dream Master, Mega Man 3, Final Fight, Mercs, Mega Twins, Block Block, Three Wonders, The Little Mermaid, 1941: Counter Attack, Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Talespin, Mega Man 4, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix, Magic Sword, Darkwing Duck, The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse, Mega Man 5, Mickey's Dangerous Chase, Quiz & Dragons, Varth, Eco Fighters, Aladdin, Breath of Fire & Final Fight 2.
  9. BTW: For a life-changing gaming experience get the Mass Effect Trilogy. Mass Effect nowadays ranges above Star Wars for me
  10. Hm... I thought the first two Uncharted games were somewhat okay, but I never got warm with the characters or the shooting sequences. I still kept them since they were still better than most other HD games I played, but ultimately decided that I don't need to play Uncharted for a third time
  11. Phew, over a week later and I still didn't manage to beat the game on extreme. But I get pretty far now, almost to the final boss
  12. Hehe, I remember doing that for the Colony 7 logo. Sorry though, I don't have any of that modern equipment. Actually *scansroom* it seems I don't even have my development TV anymore...
  13. Phew, thank heavens, that's good to hear!
  14. It's indeed true that I haven't played FF3 yet. So it's even worse than FF2?
  15. If you really want to know it in detail, yesterday I read a review that's pretty much reflecting my own throughts. You can find it here: http://www.gamefaqs....ws/review-30543 Only things I'd like to add is that I'm coming from "Double Impact" for one and that I find it quite silly that most of the time in FF2 is spent punching the screen borders Forced to choose, even as Nintendo/Capcom fan, I'd always pick Golden Axe / Streets of Rage over Final Fight
  16. The Wii U can wait until Bayonetta 2 is out I think From the games available so far I'm interested in none, since I just played through Mass Effect 3 on the 360 and can have Batman in a less gimmicky version and much cheaper on the current machines. So well, I'll just wait for Bayonetta and a Fire Emblem Uteration
  17. If you're looking for a single game that you can play for 7*12 hours, that'd be most likely one of the SNES/GEN/GBA RPGs then. I'd probably go with Fire Emblem, Advance Wars or Golden Sun for the GBA
  18. Hi there! I'm currently trying to get to the "Extreme" end of this game. It seems to be quite challenging to me, despite all the reviews claiming how easy this game is But then again I'm not playing it in two player mode. I played through "Hard" in coop with my wife, but she's refusing to play it ever again, which I completely understand - this is by far Capcoms worst SNES game we've seen so far... Anyway, I didn't get past the stage 4 boss so far, so any tips are welcome Greetings, Manuel
  19. Mass Effect 3 (360) Whoa! Best game ever! By far - In fact I'd go on saying that Mass Effect as a whole is even greater than Star Wars now. Regarding the "End" Controversy - actually the whole game felt like a 40 hour end-sequence In my first try I did something goofy by shooting the Catalyst - now that was a bad ending! Other than that I was fine with the "green" ending (having the free directors cut DLC installed). I just hope I can have *my* Shepard in Mass Effect 4 as well, whatever they're saying now and whatever story tweak is needed for that. I can't live without her!
  20. "I, Ant Ergs" would be a great movie title.
  21. http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/anagram.cgi?anagram=AEGINRST&t=1000&a=n
  22. I used to beat it regularly just to get to hear the ending music
  23. Well, that kind of info currently circulating is exactly why I was asking my questions
  24. Does anyone get the instructions of the Wii to Wii U transfer process? Will it only transfer the games currently installed on the Wii or will it transfer the Download rights? I'd hate to be forced to redownload everything on the old Wii and then transfer it to the U in 512MB chunks. Or even worse, maybe you can do the transfer only once, so you can only transfer as many of your favourites as you can cram into 512MB?
