Connecting PS2 with modern USB Fightpad?
Cybergoth replied to Cybergoth's topic in Modern Console Discussion
The controller did arrive today, albeit there's one problem: It came in some sort of 15th Anniversary Street Fighter Collectors-Item Box, complete with "Certificate of Authenticity" and whatnot... Now I'm kinda clueless regarding how to open it without breaking anything of this fabulous package. I assume there must be some kind of trick... -

I think I finally found a good Ryu, he's even japanese! That's Brian Tee from Tokyo Drift: -
I'll probably get one once Bayonetta 2 is out

Hi there! I just tried connecting my Streetfighter IV Fightpad through one of the PS2s frontside USB ports, but it didn't do anything when trying it with the "Street Fighter Alpha Anthology" I assume I have to buy yet another Fightpad for the PS2? Greetings, Manuel

So, that took a couple of days, but I now finished Breath of Fire (GBA version played on the Gamecube) twice to get both endings. Aiming for the better one is definitely a must! Capcom games beaten in 2012: Bionic Commando, Legendary Wings, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Mega Man 2, Last Duel, Duck Tales, Strider, Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Forgotten Worlds, Tiger Road, Black Tiger, Gargoyle's Quest, Chip 'n Dale - Rescue Rangers, Little Nemo - The Dream Master, Mega Man 3, Final Fight, Mercs, Mega Twins, Block Block, Three Wonders, The Little Mermaid, 1941: Counter Attack, Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Talespin, Mega Man 4, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix, Magic Sword, Darkwing Duck, The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse, Mega Man 5, Mickey's Dangerous Chase, Quiz & Dragons, Varth, Eco Fighters, Aladdin & Breath of Fire

The achilles heel of each classic system

Also try a copy of either God of War game to make sure it can play dual layer discs. There may be others, but owning GoW is a must anyway -
Top 25 Vertical Shooters for the VCS (nomination stage)
Cybergoth commented on StanJr's blog entry in StanJr's Blog
Millipede is kinda like Centipede V1.2 - clearly an improvement and so making Centipede a redundant entry in a Top 25. From the others I love Beamrider and Galaxian. Beamrider is cool, since it constantly introduces new gameplay elements in higher waves and Galaxian manages the impossible of outdoing the Arcade original on the 2600 Either way, these three would make my personal Top 3 -
I've played through Mass Effect 2 now and am currently installing Mass Effect 3

On the page it says they'll send you gift coupons for the doubles that you can pass on to friends -
Hi there! This just came in: http://www.gog.com/interplay That's Fallout 1+2+Tactics, MDK 1+2, Descent 1+2+3, Freespace 1+2, Messiah, Giants, Kingpin, Redneck Rampage Collection and more, all installing and running on XP/VISTA/7 - DRM free! Greetings, Manuel

I finally have everything (Cube + Player + GBA) setup and running, thanks again for all the good advice here! At first I was kinda puzzled by the flickering 60Hz picture on my HD, but going down to 50Hz solved this problem for me. I expected the opposite, but European TVs are probably still optimized for that Breath of Fire, here I come!

And again, Disney... I played a couple of times through Aladdin until I've seen both endings. Actually I thought the easier to get Magic Carpet ending was the better of the two Capcom games beaten in 2012: Bionic Commando, Legendary Wings, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Mega Man 2, Last Duel, Duck Tales, Strider, Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Forgotten Worlds, Tiger Road, Black Tiger, Gargoyle's Quest, Chip 'n Dale - Rescue Rangers, Little Nemo - The Dream Master, Mega Man 3, Final Fight, Mercs, Mega Twins, Block Block, Three Wonders, The Little Mermaid, 1941: Counter Attack, Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Talespin, Mega Man 4, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix, Magic Sword, Darkwing Duck, The Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse, Mega Man 5, Mickey's Dangerous Chase, Quiz & Dragons, Varth, Eco Fighters & Aladdin.

I didn't even verify if Danny DeVito is still alive And we still don't have a better suggestion for Ryu, especially since Jet Li is already reserved for Fei Long Tom Cruise? -

Well, I've seen Nicolas Cage playing a Teenager in Ghost Rider... Anyway, regarding Ryu, how about using his original actor, Byron Mann, just again? He looks alive and kicking in this trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cycqwmYgjuA (I wish this one would be released in Germany soon as well. I think stateside you get it in 4 weeks already?) -

Hi there! I just finished it for the first time and am now aiming for the second ending. The task is to collect over 50 red gems I think One question I have now: I already figured that the gem count resets to zero when requiring a password restart of the game, but I wonder if you're at least allowed to use continues or will their usage reset the counter as well? Greetings, Manuel

Whoa, it seems she'd fit the role just perfect! I wonder who'd make a good Ken. Lookalike resources suggest Owen Wilson, but I can't warm up on him. Personally I think Chris Hemsworth (Thor) would be a possible choice: -
What Xbox 360 game are you currently playing?
Cybergoth replied to moycon's topic in Microsoft Xbox 360
I must say that after the really furious start into Mass Effect 2, it lost quite a bit of steam. Basically I spent the last ~25 hours gathering my team and making it "loyal", which totally regardless of character/story/background always results in the same 60-80 minute shoot'em up missions. So far, about 30 hours into the game, there's not even a real enemy around. Also, they replaced the rather boring vehicular exploration parts from the first Mass Effect with an even more boring mineral scanner I hope it picks up pace and get's more interesting sometime soon... -

Apparently I'm not alone -
Hi there! Which actors would be on your wishlist for an Avengers-Budget Street Fighter action flic? Some thoughts: I always thought that Charlie Sheen could play Ryu, no? Blanka obviously requires CGI. After seeing Expendables 2 I'm no longer sure if Van Damme could still do Guile... Greetings, Manuel

Just like EA, Ubisoft or THQ nowadays, Acclaim also had a good game once every 3-5 years, indeed. -

Yet Acclaim was still better than what Capcoms U.S. office usually adds to the Capcom brand... -

I only read a couple of reviews and never played it myself - else I wouldn't have asked which of the two home versions I should possibly buy On GameFAQs the playstation version scored 43% on average, based on votes from 31 different users, so I thought it was safe to assume it's bad. Since I assumed it is bad I said "I know it is bad" straight away to prevent some smartasses from derailing the topic by telling me witty stuff like "They both suck". Guess you found another way...
