  1. Hi there! And the series continues. This time I picked a selection of classic 8-Bit computer games from Broderbund. The only Broderbund game that made it to the 2600 so far is "Midnight Magic", so there's some gaps to fill I picked the selection according to ratings given at Lemon64. Greetings, Manuel
  2. Hi there! Well for one the device has five additional buttons for this and then it's not emulation but a real C64-on-a-chip ticking inside... Maybe you should try getting some more infos about it before starting to bash it? Greetings, Manuel
  3. Hi there! Best game ever made on the Commodore 64, or best game ever made, EVER? I am really missing out, then, since I've never played it before. Tough question. To me it is definetely the best C64 game ever. I don't think I spent more time playing any other game in my live. (I actually still play it, I never stopped... ) Maybe the X-Wing/Tie-Fighter series as a whole including all add-ons and extensions is coming close... Greetings, Manuel
  4. Hi there! Hm... but both versions of the game have a Taito copyright: While Galaxy Wars says Universal again: Greetings, Manuel
  5. Hi there! Paradroid alone is worth buying this thing. It's the best game ever made. Greetings, Manuel
  6. Hi there! Finally found the time for a first warm-up hour: 25630 Greetings, Manuel
  7. Hi there! Uihjah! The Arcade Game Flyer archive has even flyers for both: Taito: http://www.arcadeflyers.com/?page=flyerdb&...e=thumbs&id=431 Universal: http://www.arcadeflyers.com/?page=flyerdb&...e=thumbs&id=432 And what's also interesting is this here, a flyer for Add-On Packs to the Arcade(!) version of Taitos "Arcade Classics": http://www.arcadeflyers.com/?page=flyerdb&...=thumbs&id=4281 As you can see the "Arcade Museum" pack contains "Galaxy Wars" again! Greetings, Manuel
  8. Hi there! Cool thoughts. I'd pretty much agree with it Being a video gaming archeologist is one of the best parts of the hobby, eh? Greetings, Manuel
  9. Hi there! Here, I found more screenshots of the SNES game http://screenmania.retrogames.com/snes/04/.../snes_0143.html Funny that they choose this game for a SNES remake, eh... Greetings, Manuel
  10. Hi there! There seems to be some confusion on the net wether the "Galaxy Wars" arcade is from Universal or Taito. I think it is an original Universal game which was only licensed to Taito. Reason I believe this is the SNES version, which is clearly crediting Universal for the game: Greetings, Manuel
  11. Hi there! My favourite 8-Bit console is the NES and I liked both the Genesis and the SNES. Greetings, Manuel
  12. Hi there! What about "Eric Bergstrom's KC-135" then? Dead? Greetings, Manuel
  13. Hi there! Learn how to use it! Hehe, don't take this to serious. I think it's a lot funnier than bologna sandwiches Greetings, Manuel
  14. Hi there! I don't get it, it's definitely there Oh... guess you're right. I just didn't see it, because it was filed under Atari not Epyx Greetings, Manuel
  15. Hi there! Ah no, I meant the binary. You only have the disk version for download, no dump of the cartridge ROM. I'd love to see that. I could quickly identify any differences to the regular version in case. Greetings, Manuel
  16. Hi there! Hm... then you have to ask that collector who wrote the list himself BTW: You're missing the Summer Games Cartridge on your page. Greetings, Manuel
  17. Hi there! Maybe it's the Jumpman demo extracted from the preview disk? Greetings, Manuel
  18. Hi there! Might also just be Jumpman Jr. Greetings, Manuel

  23. Hi there! Hm... hehe... while I usually prefer "modern" SCI-FI movies over the classics, I'd prefer seeing a classic Flash Gordon / Buck Rogers episode any time over this modern stuff... Best of Best though is UFO! Greetings, Manuel
