Hi there! Sounds good, yeah Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Sounds like an interesting project. You can base it on my 7x7 chessboard code if you like - it could display a unique color for each tile, so it would easily do the trick for for Connect 4. http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archiv...4/msg00229.html Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Hm... so you're basically asking for a port of Rip Cord? Greetings, Manuel
-
Hi there! Me too Maybe. Hehe, good news. When you're staying out of the contest then it's an easy win for me... Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Me too Wow, cool! Any concrete plans already? I've been looking at a few more arcade ports lately, and while I'm certain that some would make excellent 2600 ports (like "Cosmic Guerilla" for example) I'm not 100% positive about a project yet. Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Ok, fine then! Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! I'll try Battlezone as well. Please sign me up. Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! No clue. But I'll try again! :-) JUMPMAN!!! Oh, I'm working on this as well. Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Uihjah, amazingly low interest here. Well, my personal pick is "Beauty and the Beast", definitely worth a 2600 conversion, especially regarding the horrible bunch of available 2600 DK variants thus far... Greetings, Manuel

Can H.E.R.O. be fixed so it's random from the start?

Hi there! Oh wow, do you care for any namedropping? I guess Falldown Forever is close to a release? Greetings, Manuel
-
Hi there! Yup, that's how I made the example screen. I wasn't aware at the time that I'd loose the 4, 8 & 12 nibbles, that's why I originally thought 4-Bit would give me 16 colors. Hey, after all I'm programming the 7800 for less than week... Greetings, Manuel
-
Hi there! Oh, but that is starting with tricks. For my first project I wanted to keep it plain and simple. I guess with DLIs you can even have much more than 25 colors Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Ok, I'm fine with this. I just wanted to ask you first, since I like your work and you were already working with someone from our group, keeping it in the family. @mojo: I don't like the contest idea too much, I think the complete art for the game should be created by one single person who completely joins this project. Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Ok, any other artist interested in teaming up with me for a 7800 game? Meanwhile I finished the title screen code, attached is an actual MESS screenshot... Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Heya Thomas, well done! HA! I knew that Paolo would win the 4K!!! Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Any news on this project? Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Aha, good to know! Struggling with this for the whole weekend now. Took me 2 days alone just to get that thing to display something else than a black screen Mostly. There seems to be a small flaw when a DL crosses a 4K boundary or something like that. You can see it in the snakes head and I think the horizontal orange lines come from that as well. I'm just waiting for some deeper insight from the [atari7800] gurus before rewriting my tool again... The colors are all there, I just need to write something like a 7800 color selector or something like that first... Greetings, Manuel
-
Hi there! Uihja, Salamander! If you need a title screen for your game, let me know, my bmp2maria conversion tool & the 7800 code is slowly getting there. The attached is an actual 7800 screenshot, just a few more tweaks and I'm there! Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Or you could have just asked the organizers for undoing your submit. Oh, didn't know it was an option... Uhm... but you posted in the very thread where just that happened, it was called "submitted by mistake" for a reason... I just double checked the thread, and I don't see anyone asking "please undo my submission" or anyone saying "here I undid the submission"...so it's not clear that it's an option. Double Checked? What about: Paolo: "Okay, my mistake, I pressed the submit button instead of the save one. Is there any way to roll back?" Steve: "no problem, you should be all fixed up now." Paolo: "Thanks Steve" Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! And here's the next one in this series. This time we're gonna sort out which Intellivsion game from Imagic is the most desired for the Atari 2600! The selection contains all 10 Imagic titles that have no 2600 match.. Greetings, Manuel
