Hi there! To witch lower resolution should an Amiga switch for example? Also, it has no "charset" mode. I think it'd be amazingly difficult to program a good Amiga game in 4K only, despite all the power this machine has... Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! I've plans to continue this in a series of monthly polls, so if you give me a seriously researched list (#1) of choices, I can do that in december. For november I already have another plan... Greetings, Manuel (#1: The list shouldn't contain any "generic" stuff like standard sport or racing games and it shouldn't contain 1:1 lookalikes of already existing 2600 titles.)

Hi there! I didn't set a time-out for the poll, so there there shouldn't be a "winner" Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! You should suggest that on the contest board! I'm positive about this. While 16-Bit machines are much more powerful than 8-Bit machines, but on 4K they're probably also extremely limited just because of that power - They have a higher screen resolution to fill and they have less space for code, because they can do 16-Bit operations... Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Yup, I was trying to research the Capcom Arcade/NES title Me too Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! How would I find threads about "Son Son"? Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! I think DEBRO hacked Spitfire Attack to have reversed controls (in the hacks forum?). Back then it inspired me to make that switchable in Star Fire, seeing that there was some "demand". Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! I totally agree with you. I'm really amazed by the poll result so far, I had expected for example that a unique title like Killer Bees would do much better than yet another Pac-Man clone Actually my hope was that the question would rather be interpreted as "which port would fill in a gap on the 2600" than "which is your favourite O2 game"... Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! And "Radial Pong"? Greetings, Manuel

Who wants to help build the elusive PAL rarity list then?

Hi threre! Wow, cool. Does the tattoo say "dead man moving" as well? I'm certainly more into the old darker stuff, filing most of the new material under "Aerobic Techno" Still, some killer tracks are even on the latest album (...ok amp, let me out... ...rollergirl...). Also there's always the odd C64-SID version of a song on a B-Side or as hidden bonus track, so both the cyber and goth the in me are pleased Greetings, Manuel -
Hi there! Yup, Al finally removed a few projects from the list where nothing happened at all the last 2-3 years. They certainly come back once the programmers show a sign of life. Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Why not continue the brick wall from the bottom on top as well? Might give it a more consistent look. Greetings, Manuel -
Hi there! Heya, congrats! Only 7 patches remaining now... Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Cool avatar, one of my favourite bands... Greetings, Manuel -
Hi there! Guess I missed this topic the whole time, as I'm not really paying attention for the "Events" board Sure, I'm definitely interested in the 2004 awards! It's one of the highlights of our scene! (Even in years I'm not winning any award ) Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! There's also Espial. And River Raid certainly. Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Hehe, actually that was precisely what I expected Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! After reading some of your postings, I started wondering how old you are? Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Oh... guess I need to pay more attention then Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! I had disqualified those two, because one has multiscreen levels and the other is scrolling. Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! *bumped* I'd like to use old thread listing platformers for jumpstarting me into a listing of 2600 games with gameplay mechanics similar to Jumpman, that is basically single-screen platformers. Qualifying from the above I'd start out with these: Adventures of Tron Airlock Donkey Kong Donkey Kong Jr. Fast Eddie Frankenstein's Monster Infiltrate Kangaroo Mario Bros. Miner 2049'er Miner 2049'er II Montezuma's Revenge And then I'd add Burger Time and Popeye Any others to consider? Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Here http://download.t-online.de/t-games/dl_det...ml?progid=20503 can you buy a BD clone for €3.90 from the Telekom... Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! Day of the Tentacle.Would this really be possible on the 5200? Isn't this a graphics text adventure like the Scott Adams games? No text adventure. It's from Lucasarts, a graphic adventure like Zak McKracken or Monkey Island. The PC disk version was some 10MB, but it has a higher resolution (640*480*256) than a 5200 port would have. Scaled down to ANTIC resolution it might just fit into a 4MB cartridge... Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! In 1998 one of Germans biggest publishers had a commercial BD clone released, "Pirateninsel" and I think there's another commercial (low-budget) BD title sold here right now. Greetings, Manuel

Hi there! It requires the last torpedo to *expire*. I tried timing that for almost an hour, with a Seawolf hack starting with 1 life, 5 fuel and 1 torpedo and didn't manage doing it even once... You need to video-tape a #1 submission, so the glitch will get identified. Greetings, Manuel
