  1. Happy Birthdays!!

  2. Hey Eric, most were but a few were held back for a bit due to a shortage of packing material (in short, we ran out of boxes). I can tell you for a fact that your specific item went out on Thursday. You should get it on Tuesday, I hope. Also, it's worth noting that I have no friggin' idea how high this Lynx auction is going to go. Someone posted a more complete Lynx auction recently that went for over $1500. I don't expect to challenge that, but I really don't know what to expect. Guess we'll all find out! --Needle
  3. Good evening! Some of you folks remember me from my most recent Atari Jaguar selloff - I think some of you even bought a bit of it (thanks!) and some of you may even still be waiting for those items to arrive (they're on the way nw, sorry about that). As originally promised, I'm now selling off a cubic assload of Atari Lynx product, most of which is in amazing condition. Of notice is the Atari Lynx Uber Collection, which includes an Atari Lynx II in box, with assorted accessories and over fifty games, most of which are in a box and sealed! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=200087573055 Please check out my other auctions as well, since I've separated out some notable Lynx games from the pack for individual sale (Raiden anyone?) as well as relisted a couple Jaguar items (uhm... Raiden anyone? haha). Thanks again guys. Your interest is greatly appreciated. --Needle
  4. Awesome! After his duplicate bid scheming on my Jaguar auctions, I reported him for violating policy. eBay got back to me that very night. Looks like I was able to make a difference after all. And with that, if anyone around here won any of those Jaguar auctions - we're gonna try and get out as many of the boxes tomorrow as possible. And those of you who didn't win... well... now you can bid on your Jaguar products in peace. And I'll be offering Lynx stuff next week --Needle
  5. Seconded. Pboland's experiences seem very familiar to what I'm currently going through, only mine are in the making now and have a very good chance of ending similarly. For those keeping score, here's the story so far regarding my Jaguar auctions (now with less than a day to go). I received the initial email asking why he couldnt bid within the first 30 minutes of the auction's beginning. His secondary account was bidding on these shortly thereafter. The next morning I received the now-famous Paragraph of Shame which I posted publicly to my Aliens vs. Predator auction. A few days pass when I notice a user has something very in common with our antihero (I wont say what on a public forum for fear he might be reading - I don't want to give away his "absolute genius"). Upon doing an ID check it correlates with his current location within five miles. Bids are cancelled on about seven auctions and an email was fired off to eBay support. The most recent chapter is that I received an initial response from eBay, which seems to be a partial form letter, asking for additional information in a reply, which I sent off about five minutes ago. I don't know if it's progress, but it's something. All I know is that this guy has messed with the wrong dude. Of course now I have to be paranoid that he's just switching between one of several accounts, but the bottom line is if he wants this stuff, it's not going to be easy. I'm fighting it to the end. I'll write as the saga continues! --Needle
  6. I have new, pertinent information for you folks. The account "longears69" is also SSFU. He has bids on several of my auctions. Upon crosschecking contact information, this person lives in the same vicinity as SSFU, i.e. down the street. All of his bids will be canceled, his account blocked from bidding and a report will be made to eBay.
  7. Honestly, I say leave him the negative feedback. I realize that we all want perfect eBay records, but I would definitely swallow a megative if it meant doing the right thing. If more people did the right thing, SSFU would probably have been long gone by now and we wouldn't be in this mess anymore. Of course, it's easy for me to say that without being in the actual situation. I've now reported harrassment to eBay twice. Mcgrail, I suggest you do the same. It's going to take more than one person to get this guy the boot. --Needle
  8. I do not believe the zero-feedback bidder in some of my auctions right now is our culprit. It would appear I am in the clear for the time being. If any other strange IDs pop up I'll double-check those as well. I'll still do what I can to get SSFU's harrassing "questions" to the attention of eBay higherups. Boy, I sure created more waves than I was expecting to!
  9. Well, can't Needle pull the contact information for any of his bidders? That would be an easy way to see if it's Mike Sweet. Maybe he should exclude 0 feedback bidders from the auctions. ..Al I know about pulling contact information from bidders, I've considered doing so but it's probably pointless this early in the game, what with over two days left to bid. As for zero feedback bidders, can I do that? I've blocked negative bidders but I've never found the option to block zero bidders. I suppose I should look more carefully. I'll do what I can on my side to keep things legit, even if it nets me lost bids that pump up the price. This is a matter of principle, not profit. --Needle
  10. Thanks for having me here This guy is a complete headcase and I don't want him anywhere near my auctions. Bottom line is, this Jaguar stuff should go to the people who will appreciate it the most, and the thought of this guy getting his hands on it repulses me. You're tellin' me! I'd be lying if I said it was mine. Truth is I'm auctioning off this stuff for a friend, who has one of the most amazing game collections I've ever seen. It's just absolute insanity. We're going through a box at a time and getting it all out the door. We want it all going to good homes. There's more to come too, I think next week there's a virtually complete set of never-touched Lynx stuff. Good times. And, on topic, we package our game boxes in *boxes*, not mailers We're both collectors at heart and understand the collector mentality. Anyways, I didn't mean to threadjack this with a plug. More than anything I wanted to make the situation at hand known to you so we can all laugh at it together.
  11. Hey folks, I realize I'm a new poster and everything I say is taken with a grain of salt, but I just wanted to thank the AtariAge community for providing me with the research material I needed on this guy. Last night I threw about 38 Jaguar-related auctions on eBay (anyone who has been on there recently probably know anyway, I've got a Battlesphere in there!) and the first thing I did was block out this guy to keep him away from it. Wouldn't you know it, it took twenty minutes from the auction's start time to get my first "question" asking why he couldn't bid, and an insult calling me a "hater". Twelve hours, later, I received an even lovlier "question" which I had the joy of posting to the actual auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...813674&rd=1 And since then I've even received a third followup question, which is borderline harrassment. You can be damned sure I've reported the behavior to eBay. Mind you, in all three posts, there wasn't a single properly used period. God that bugs me. Anyways yea, thanks guys. You saved me a major headache. I figure if anything this is a good opportunity to get his actions noticed by some eBay watchdog. --Needle
