  1. Why don't you buy instead SIO2SD (a stand-alone solution storage solution) or SIO2PC (you have to connect a PC)? These solutions both cost around $50.
  2. Don't be too greedy! Do you know that die Mannschaft resides in Ascona, about three Km away from where I live?
  3. Happy birthday! I am three years older...
  4. Sean, I have read all your post so I already know what happened to your family. Now I have read your 'About me' page and I have no words to communicate my feelings. I am glad your daughter is doing well at school. I think only faith and love for a child can help a person go on in a case like this. Regards
  5. Hi Sean. I appreciate your efforts for your daughter. In the future I will do the same with my daughter (I have programmed for her Cookie Monster). But don't forget to let her use also today's computers!
  6. I think that XM301 modem would be a perfect case for SIO2SD. You can also buy these modems nowadays. MEtalGuy, would you do it? Obviously after have done the XC1411 monitor that someone will buy for $500,000.00!
  7. looks very nice. scrolling or singlescreen platformer? I am sorry, I have forgotten that the topic starter is searching a side-scrolling platformer. Vicky is a single screen platformer. Unfortunately I am not able to understand the long Polish introduction.
  8. I have just discovered a game called Vicky.
  9. I have SIO2PC USB version (bought from AA user classics) and I am very satisfied (APE also works with Vista so no problems for the future - Vista apart ). I also use SIO2SD (bought from AA user Pigula) when I don't want to connect a PC and want a stand-alone solution.
  10. To remain in topic, A8 doesn't have a good soccer game like International Soccer or Emlyn Hughes International Soccer. We only have old 16K game Thorn Emi's Soccer.
  11. Italy **** (4 times World Cup Champion) Now I will support Russia.
  12. It's not my favourite genre but this game is excellent, considering Plus4 limitations.
  13. Here is Atarimania's Lunar Lander's genre games page: http://www.atarimania.com/lst_soft-MENU-8-...ILLE_ID-28.html My game isn't surely the best one but at least the name is original: L.E.M. Lunar Excursion Module Seems very interesting. Can you send me this game in another format (not .cas)? My Atari800Win Plus 4.0 emulator crashes when I attach tape. EDIT Very interesting too! Instead of detritus or 'Shredded Wheat' your Moon has many asteroids!
  14. With your post you make me remember that I was not very good in astronomy (and in mathematics too) when I was attending high school! The pixels seems stars but in fact are detritus (line 490 REM TERRAIN AND DETRITUS). Detritus over the Moon?
  15. Before discovering Turbo-Basic XL and programming Cookie Monster, I have made a *simple* Lunar Lander game in Atari Basic called L.E.M. EDIT I attach version 1.1: it is identical to the original release but, thanks to Tezz, there is a new autoboot routine that doesn't display awful READY, POKE and RUN "D:...". I also attach Antic magazine's program ("Autogo.bas") that creates an AUTORUN.SYS able to load whatever basic program you want. EDIT 2 I attach version 1.2: it is identical to the original release but there is (another!) autoboot routine that displays "LOADING LEM.BAS"; I think it's the correct solution. I attach ANALOG magazine's program ("RUNAUTO.BAS") that creates AUTORUN.SYS able to load whatever basic program you want. LEM.zip LEM_v1.1.zip AUTOGO.zip LEM_v1.2.zip RUNAUTO.zip
  16. I too would like an Atari monitor designed for 400/800, XL or XE computers. XC1411 is perfect for Atari 130XE but unfortunately only a rare prototype: Perhaps if you offer a lot of money you can find one. In the meantime, you can buy a grey LCD TV/monitor like mine and connect it to the computer using an s-video cable for maximum quality.
  17. Thank you for programming such a beautiful game. One copy ordered!
  18. "Written by Brian Hecker and Craig Sherman, project is a biopic about entrepreneur Nolan Bushnell, the creator of Atari and one of the founding fathers of the vidgame industry." DiCaprio to play with Atari.
