  1. Ahhh the Epyx 500 XJ...good to see a few fellow fans here. :)

We've been using the XJ for ages..in fact we liked them so much, we ordered in a few new/old stock from the US (We are in Australia).

Funnily enuff the microswitch clicking never bothered me.

Does anyone use different sticks for different games? The XJ or a Bug if you can find one for platformers etc, The Wico Boss (another EXCELLENT stick) for drivers etc. is a personal fave.

  2. Hi All

Sorry if this has been covered before, but what is the BEST way to store your Atari carts?

Plastic bags or not? Mylar? Tuppaware type storage containers?

Forgive a newbie and let me know what you think is best :)

    Cheers

  3. Hi all

We've just picked up a Spectravision (aka Spectravideo) catalog called 'Meet the Challenge - volume 2 11/82', which includes details of a game called 'Galactic Tactic'.

This game doesnt appear in the rarity guide.

Just wondering if anyone has any details?

Since we are trying to collect all the spectravision games we were saddened to see that 'Mangia' is a 10.... wish us luck

BTW, we have 3 cross force, 2 nexars and 2 planet patrols...anyone got Mangia?

  4. Its not that 7800/2600 incompatability thingy that I read about in another post??

One of my Activision carts rolls when I play it on my 7800 (its the only one) but works fine in my 2600 or my Colecovision.

I was stuffed until i read the post about it..put it in a 2600...no more problems

    Cheers

  5. Hi All

Just was wondering if Miner 2049er II was the same as Bounty Bob Strikes Back on the Commodore 64? I have a feeling BBSB was the Miner 2049 sequel on the C=64.

I have Miner 2049er and before i go off in a probably fruitless search for the sequel, I would like to know if it would be worth the hunt

I loved BBSB on the C=64...it was a great game and the cause of a lot of lost sleep in my younger days

So how about it? They the same or am I barking up the wrong tree?

    Cheers All
