How do you tell PAL/SECAM and French SCART apart?
RayXambeR replied to Pixelboy's topic in Opcode Games
Yes it is me! I have received a prototype of SGM last year in order to help Eduardo to make more test on Scart French system. And I have no sound too (with King's valley, the game I have tested). Too, I have opened my Atari Expansion module to take photos for Edaurdo. With them he has found the source of the problem if I remember well. Then I have send to Eduardo the prototype SGM. Since this time, I haven't my "commercial" SGM and my copies of Rollerball and super zaxxon are like orphans! -
Yes dear Youki, I would like to say Secam because I have a SCART output. thanks!

Hi Eduardo I think I haven't received your emails … the last one I have received mention that I have to choose between the available NTSC SGM or wait for a future PAL version. I would like a PAL version but I don't think so it is available? It is difficult to follow all the things concerning this module. So, please send an email (or a pm on AA) and I'll answer you thanks!

Need a simple part drawn in 3d printable stl file
RayXambeR replied to low_budget's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Probably I can realize it. I don't know if I will have time these days but, next week, I think it could be ok. But I'd rather european dimensions (millimeter) instead of English ones And no need to pay me for that! Message sent with my email. -
What about unboxed Homebrew/Conversion releases?
RayXambeR replied to lucifershalo's topic in ColecoVision / Adam
I think you can continue to purpose new complete games (with full packaging) and, when the stock becomes low, you can offer a little quantity of cartridges without packaging. As Lucifershalo says, AtariAge do that for some games (princess rescue, etc.) and a company like Retrozone too (for NES homebrew games like Battle Kid series, etc.). Offering the rom is a very good idea of course but for some games, we love to have the pleasure to insert the real cartridge, without using our loved Atarimax! And sometimes we don't want to wait until the release of the rom. Gulkave, peek a boo and girl's garden have been published lots of months before! It is not human to have to wait so long before playing these cool games! Too, buying just the cart is a way to buy your games a bit cheaper, because all people don't have enough money for but would like to do their best to buy a maximum of games. Actually, it becomes impossible for me to buy every new homebrew Colecovision game. I have to make choice. -
Any news about the Mac OS X version of your software? I haven't any mac under OS 9. Thanks!

Thanks DZ-Jay for this post! You game is very great! The price of the last ReVival English issue is around 35 dollars but it is will a biggest issue AND an exclusive Super CDRon 2 NEC PcEngine/TurbografX-16, in order for celebrate the 50th French issue of the magazine. The game is made professionally like Mysterious Song or Pyramide Plunder TG-16. Also Revival Chase includes a multiplayer mode (up to 5!) and two hidden little shoot'em up games (ozma wars pcengine edition and RT2A, a caravan-type style), revealed in the next issue and real audio music! But, of course, for those who don't want to buy the NEC game, the magazine can be bought separately (but not the game, sold only with the magazine). You can buy it from Good Deal Games, Fury Unlimited and 16/32 Systems. Concerning AA, Albert doesn't seem to want to purpose the most recent issues. Perhaps he has no time enough to take time for that? But there are the other three sites to order Revival And don't forget the free issue you can download from our website (but the layout has really changed in the last issue as the scan of DZ-Jay shows that) The score of each game in our review is subjective, as any review and, if it was only my point of view, I'd rather never put any score and let the reader makes his own opinion by reading the full review. ReVival, from the start, has reviewed all Intellivision home-brews (and near the same for other systems) and we continue to do that with the other releases. And ReVival is devoted to homebrew games, and exclusively them. Magazine is only made (and translations) on our spare time but we love to play, test, discuss with people behind these superb games. Guys like you DZ-jay, Kevin from Reboot, French guys found of Colecovision (youki, bfg, crapahute, ...) and more, are very representating of the spirit of homebrew games. So, congratulations for making such good games! Concerning Intellivision, for me, the best homebrew game is Stonix! PS: and sorry for my English: be sure that all translations in ReVival are not made by me!
