Who made this crappy pirate? I'm thinking about taking all my pal carts and having a bon-fire.
-
I found this going thru my stuff. Kind of an interesting label to me as I haven't seen any other titles with it. It's PAL.

Ok, that made me laugh =)

RIFFRAFFGAMES.COM open, trade/sell lists available
riffraff replied to riffraff's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
The prices will be on the left side, there are 2 columns .. 1 for new/shrinked and the other for a loose cart. I don't have any default prices for manuals or boxes. If you still don't see prices it might be that you're looking at my personal collection instead of the trade/sell lists. -
The Atari 2600 collector Hall of Fame (2007)
riffraff replied to homerwannabee's topic in Atari 2600
I'd be farther along if I had not have taken 10 years off.. but here's my 2600 collection. I have to have a look and see what others have to make my own list of candidates. -
I've been working on my trade/sell lists for over a month. I have them in good enough shape now to open to the public. RIFFRAFFGAMES.COM is the name. The lists are mostly accurate but once in a while I find that I no longer have a game listed. Some loose, some new in the box... stop by and hopefully you see something you want. From the homepage you can check my "have" lists too if you are so inclined. I don't have "wanted" lists yet but to start I'm looking for anything for the Bally Astrocade that I don't have already. edit: URL name change

I agree with what most others have said here. Pac-Man Jr. is one of the best games on the platform and one I'd show to someone to show off what can be done. Hard game tho, indeed. The coin-op was pretty damn hard too.

Shameless plug time, but if anyone needs 2600 Secret Quest shrinkwrapped I have some cheap. $4 + shipping for AA members.

Okie Dokie #95/100 Original Run, Kevtris #30/100
riffraff replied to riffraff's topic in Auction Central
Well #94 was in that box too.. does that make it a double-ender? -
Golf games are my other favorite. Hot Shots Fore / PS2 is my favorite right now but I put a lot of time in on the previous versions and PGA Tour Golf on the Sega Genesis as well. Whichever system gets Hot Shots Golf 5 (probably PS3) will be the next system I buy.

Okie Dokie #95/100 Original Run, Kevtris #30/100
riffraff replied to riffraff's topic in Auction Central
Sure I have the box but.. it's just a priority mail box from back then. I have my own copy, yep. "Pill bottle" is actually a vintage 35-mm film canister (before the new-fangled digital cameras made them obsolete) I'm going to be putting up an original Kevtris (colecovision) + manual. -
Okie Dokie #95/100 Original Run Bid responsibly! Edit: As promised, my extra copy of Kevtris is up now also: Colecovision Kevtris #30/100 + manual

Looking for footage of the Dreadnaught Factor...
riffraff replied to ataridave's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
Looks like 400/800. "broken by" title screen comes up briefly -
I've always had a thing for baseball games.. until they started sucking ass. Atari 5200 RS Baseball, NES RBI Baseball were both great. I bought a SMS to play "Great Baseball" which wasn't all that great. I bought NEO GEO after seeing Baseball stars and played that quite a lot. After that the only good baseball games have come out in Japan only. World Stadium series by Namco (SNES/PS1.. the N64 was so-so). My favorite series to date is the Konami Powerful Power Baseball (not sure what they're up to now, I think I have #9 on PS2) US made baseball games have been an embarrassment. Companies (and consumers) focus on cinematics and "close up" camera angles and the games are seriously lacking in gameplay. So yeah, Baseball Games for me!

Big game and system lot on Craigs List ($5000)
riffraff replied to lintwarp's topic in Auction Central
I hope it includes shipping =) -
I did, but sold it at the end of March. This one has the box, nice!
-
I just sent a guy a NIB Sprintmaster that he sent a check for in July 1997. Not quite a decade, so don't complain about the slow shipping, ok?? =) The game is good and I'm sure worth the wait. Edit: Oh I have some more of this title if someone wants it. $11 shipped in the USA (wont take 10 years I promise)

I saw that too.. kinda cool. Not sure what it is
