Don't worry I wont drag this on any longer than necc. =) I just checked out some stuff. Night Stalker looks pretty cool. AD&D (Treasure of Tarmin) seems solid. Someone asked about Command Console and I plugged it in, it seemed to only work without the mini-expander. It tried to communicate to some piece of hardware that wasn't there and it came up with an error, so I'm not sure what that's all about. Mini-expander test cart was neat. Did lots of tests, sounds, keys, controls, etc. Here's a pic of the Mini-expander test cart in action: -
well after seeing this thread I went out to the thrifts (which is dumb since Salv. Army is closed on Sunday). It was 50% off day at Goodwill and I got this for $1: Wizard of Oz Monopoly So it wasn't a waste of gas. Only thing console related I saw was some old genesis fifa game .. '95 or some junk.

damnit.. anyone NOT trying to do a deal here? =)

When does the "GO, GT..." sequence start then? to make it easier on me, no specific time but I'll probably advance that sequence every day or twice a day. -
Argh.. yeah good deal. And there is no way all that stuff is getting shipped for $13.

Ever really really WANT to like a game, but can't?
riffraff replied to AtariJr's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Was this against the computer or against a friend? For me, I needed to play against a friend to dig it. Either way I thought it was bad. I'd much rather play 2600 pele's soccer =) -

Hmm ok thanks Marco I didn't know that. I'll lower the starting bid. -
Cubicolor is an original, production game from a major company that just happened to be put together after the fact. The label is Rob's autograph. I don't think that comparison is a good one.

I understand the reasoning. It's all about defining what your "collection" is. If you are out to fill every game in your collection, you want to focus on that. If you are going to include all PAL stuff then obviously there's a lot more games you have to get to complete the task, a lot of them not very exciting. Decypher and others who just want to focus on NTSC are willing to spend a lot of money to get the games they need to fill the collection, but not on things that fall outside that. If you just collected 2600 and an "awesome NES game" came up for auction, it probably isn't going to be of any interest to you. It's all about where you draw your line.

He still wouldn't cough up the .35 for a gallery pic. Shrewd!! =)
-
Wow that clears up a lot of questions. Thank you big time for that I have the feeling this isn't over yet.
-
Maybe study up for that SAT re-take.
-
Yep, what Deus said. This is a reason I thought there was a very good chance it was real even with the original auctioneer denounced it. Now I don't think you've lowered the value of your cart at all, in fact quite the opposite. This is the best thing you could have done to authenticate it other than having the paperwork (probably better). Grats! I'm fairly positive CPU will give you good news.

I wonder if he's gonna give him a negative feedback now

You had an Aquarius? I'm sorry... Tempest Yeah but I didn't buy it at full price. It was a Kay Bee special. I got it thinking it might be fun to program and also because they had a D&D Treasure of Tarmin which I thought was going to be better than the INTV version. In fact I still have it, along with a bunch of stuff people added to it over the years, including prototypes, modems, etc. The whole aquarius collection is going up for sale soon (if I can't find someone who wants it!) .. Again .. sorry for off-topic.
