  1. I haven't seen the Aquarius burgertime but when I was 13 or so I programmed Artillery Duel using Basic with random terrain, etc. I didn't have the tape cassette interface when I did it so I lost the program when I turned off the Aquarius lol. Sorry off topic... =)
  2. Hey cool. Your box seems in better shape than mine. I'm trying to talk Mike Schwartz (ctcw programmer) into coming to the 2007 CGE, maybe signing some CTCW's for people if they want. He doesn't seem too excited about it but maybe I can hammer him into submission by the time the convention arrives.
  3. Ha! cool commercial.. first time I've heard Aquarius ever mentioned in any advertisement. I remember being very impressed with the INTV burgertime. I thought it was fun. I'm guessing nobody has seen the PC version or there would be a lot more votes for that.
  4. IBM pc had the best gameplay and more levels than the coin-op. Although only in 4-color CGA, it still rocks ass. Edit: actually mame is the best version =)
  5. If MenAVision was a US Company, wouldn't it be possible to look them up somehow? Business Licence or anything like that?
  6. Just for the record, I did not personally find either of these. CTCW Box was found by Rob Batina 12 years ago at a garage sale. If that wasn't amazing enough, he also found a boxxed Waterworld at the same time. He only wanted the carts so I made a deal to buy the boxes from him. I don't remember how much it was for but he gave me a good deal. The Tooth Protectors box I got in some deal back then too, but I don't remember who with. I just wanted to show em off when I stumbled across them while searching for something else in my collection.
  7. Open up the damn thing of course. Can someone get this guy unbanned from DP, like pronto??
  8. Might just be sour grapes too. How can it be authenticated?
  9. The game isn't bad if you consider that it was programmed in 4 days.
  10. Lore says it's an American company. From what I've read today apart from this thread it appears PAL. Looks like a crappy pirate/hack to me =)
  11. Well an inside tip.. auctioneer will end this auction if you paypal him $500. Only if the "mystery cart" to the right of CTCW is Pepsi Invaders.. =)
  12. Wow that clears up a lot of questions. Thank you big time for that I have the feeling this isn't over yet.
  13. PC:Burgertime. Yes, this may be the best version. Having more levels than the coin-op with smooth gameplay. Someone knew what they were doing!!
  14. Yeah that RPG mode in TG16 tennis is so cool! Very fun.. same thing with the racing game that they did with the same theme. I forgot about those. How bizzare you settle "encounters" by playing tennis.. lol
  15. I know this isn't the right spot for this, but if someone wants a joyboard I put one up for auction. Comes with the box, but the box is in really beat-up shape.
  16. Yep! It was found in the wild (garage sale) about 12 years ago. I'm guessing someone made some repros since then? Thank you I opened up this box of "2600 boxes" when looking for something else, and saw some of the boxes had been crushed. EEK! Thankfully they weren't terribly rare stuff and these precious ones were not damaged. How do you store your boxes? I thought just putting them in a large box on a shelf somewhere they'd be safe but now I'm thinking there's got to be a better way. Comic books can have cardboard backs and bags to protect them. Do most collectors collapse their boxes for storage?
  17. Atari 2600 Joyboard by Amiga
  18. a couple tough boxes.. well whatever you want to call the tooth protectors one.
  19. memememe Hmm anyone have a Surf's Up they wanna sell?
  20. CTCW in large lot My side-deal skills are feeble. Besides something about this seller seems off.
