Ok cool.. I figured if my assumption was incorrect someone would set me straight.

This documentation was only delivered with the 2nd release of cubicolor yes? I have nothing but a badly photo-copied instruction page and, although I'm not the original owner, I beleive that's all it came with. Edit: Also congrats to Decypher on this buy. Although some may disagree I think he did get a nice price on it. He is a nice guy and I'm happy he got it uncontested, but I would have bid against him if I were in a better spot. >

I thought there was a Sword reward also from Swordquest?

I think eBay was confused by the description and thought it was "modified" to play copies of games.

5200 Meteorites and Masterplay Interface both up on eBay. 3 days left.

dude, can't you get another ash tray from the .99 store? =)
-
Yes, strange comment indeed. Decypher is the real deal.

Yep.. I wasn't really actively "collecting" when the CGE came to vegas.. but a friend was in town and got me to go to it, and once there of course I was amazed at the homebrews and other stuff ppl were selling (got the foot pedal, 2 Snow Whites repros, and a bunch of other stuff that got thrown into a box and put into the "storage" room). I just recently hooked up my 2600 again, opened the box and started having fun with the stuff. I plugged in Mr. Roboto and couldn't figure out what was different from Berzerk.. until I had this song playing in my head the rest of the day =) Also won Malagai in the auction there, still have yet to look at it. Thrust really is an excellent game for the 2600. I'd give it a 10/10. Now if I can get motivated to hook up a 5200 and check out Haunted House II...

the 1st (newer) auction is now gone.

Yes, definitely. I answered both of these questions in the listings but I guess people kinda gloss-over the bullets

Yes I will ship to Canada or overseas.. just expect a higher cost for shipping. And of course if you get several patches then shipping can be combined.

Very good deal. CTCW is not the "holy grail" it was once thought of, but it should be worth $75 at least.

Riff Raff's Activision Patch Auctions $4.99 starting bid on all patches, only 2 of them have reserves (Toy Trouble-Shooters and Oinkers) These guys are in pristine shape and need a good home!

I didn't even know about the Video Gems one. I remember the sears one being a decent port and not a bad game.

N64 with backup unit - what's it worth?
riffraff replied to jetset's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I bought one of these. I never used the CD to load games, usually just d/l roms via the parrallel port. It's in a box somewhere .. I'd have to dig it up but if someone's interested I would't mind selling it. -
Guess you wouldn't have liked the COIN OP
-
Ahh I did not know. Will bug him about it. Why don't you have CPUWIZ make you one? He has sold them in the past.

I think the 2600 port of Ms Pac-Man was, and still is, incredible. It might just be that after pac-man, the bar was set really low, but still.. very fun and challenging game.

I remember my friend having one of these in 1979 or so. I was SOOOO jealous!

Excellent game!

Ok I had to jam some item into the holes to open the dust cover, then slide the dust cover all the way down.. then success! Thanks

I decided to try Thrust+, a game I got at the 2002 CGE and it doesn't seem to want to go into the 2600 slot. Any suggestions?

Atari 400/800/XE cart auction.. classic r.g.v.c. style!
riffraff replied to riffraff's topic in Auction Central
Yes that was the most popular. The anti-snipe auction! Also the best for the auctioneer becuase they were nearly guaranteed to get the most money from what they were selling. I remember sending email to ppl when they were outbid to "remind" them of the fact in case they wanted to go higher. **rubs hands together greedily** I forgot that JDH had a winning bid but otherwise this auction went smooth -
Nintendo Censorship (the old days were not always great)
riffraff replied to cimerians's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I don't remember having to leave anything out. There are a lot of hidden/secret flags to get in the game tho, some of which can only be found by taking "leaps of faith", pushing thru secret walls and the such. Making the Coyote die in 30 unique ways was fun =) Yeah the graphics really were sharp on that game. I haven't beaten it in along time, but IIRC there was a giant Wiley robot at the end of the game which I thought was cool. Anything hidden or left out of the game? Tempest
