Yeah I'm surprised they went for that much. Mercury Hess told me they'd fetch this much, and he was right as usual.
-
I will sell these. $190 for the perfect shrinkwrapped, $140 for the one that's had it's shrink torn at the top.
I've been told that these are probably not very good for trying to turn into a supercharger type device or dev system. The idea of using them with home brew games is an interesting one.
edit: prices loweres a bit. these items are really hard to price.
edit: dealer pak and main box sold.

I think it's pac-man or combat, a rom should exist somewhere
I don't thnk I can insert it without damaging it. It's a one of a kind cart created by Zimot Industries, or "arton" as he was known on IRC. I don't know how many he made or who has the other ones but none are the same design. ok I have some other stuff, but this is the most unique...
Zimot #2 cart.. 1 of a kind!

Hi
what Kind of game is this?
Does a rom exist?

OMFG ROFL!!!!!!!!!
UFC meats Atari!

I love the astrocade. I hope someone is selling some multicarts again at the CGE.

This is not a joke and we are both very serious about this. What would you pay to see this bout and what event would be right to host it?
Of course the obvious answer is the CGE in Vegas coming up. I don't think you could get the MGM, but maybe the MGM parking lot.
I'd pay to see if it wasn't too much.

Dragster is a very good game. It's very simple yet requires very good timing and joystick control. And you can never say you got boned by a random number.. if you mess up it's all on you.
It is an excellent example of how a game can be replayable without having to memorize anything or rely on random numbers.
As for worst game, Froggo stuff came to mind. It might take some time to narrow it down to just 1 or 2 titles.

Hey I like the haunted statue thing the seller has too.

OMG that description is so funny!!!

Last day for this auction.. 11:59pm PST tonight.
Edit: Also, Chess bid retracted as the label was a bit too worn for Tim's liking. If you are interested on this cart, min bid set at $7.

If whoever wins this does not need Pete Rose, I'll buy it off ya.. still need it boxxed.
-
Yo Bro! is my game.. WOOT no wonder this lot went for so much

ik im a dork, because i found this funny, especially because i expected something much worse

Something like THIS?

I just don't have the money for the Quadrun now. If I was working I would have put up a fight. Grats to the winner, this has historically been a "trade only" game.. getting it in that shape for $250 is a win.

Has this prototype surfaced anywhere? I remember Activision/Mediagenic was nearly finished with it in 1989.
Edit: nevermind, I guess this was a published game!
-
Well in case this or another one surfaces, and someone is able to dump the roms..
Looking at it compared with the old panthers, it's quite a lot smaller (maybe 20 inches tall) and the eyebrows are really thin.
Guess big bushy eyebrows are not "in" anymore

Yeah ok, starpath.. 7800 right.
But there still are issues with the junior with some games.. I think some carts are too wide to fit into the slot.
I thought there were some games the Jr wouldn't play tho.. like Starpath or something? I can't remember.
You're probably thinking of the 7800. The Jr is compatible with all 2600 games.

Hmm who is that? I've send payment/items to that addy before I'm sure of it.
