  1. Hi people.. Sorry the IP problem was fixed a couple of weeks back - the problem ended up being a piece of equipment at my ISP that was routing some packets in such a way that they were taking so many hops that they hit their TTL and were being dropped - it did not help that they had some internal routers set to drop packets at 16 hops. After that my main computer that I use for scanning would not turn on and I ended up getting new RAM, motherboard, and video board to get things working again. On top of that I went on a short vacation and somehow the thought of BYTE never came up I'll get another put up as soon as I'm done posting this.. Next vacation isn't until October so I should be be to get a decent amount done by then.
  2. I have a couple of these I purchased in the late 80's - boxed and I believe complete (have not inventoried it yet - I did take one out briefly in the mid 1990's). If I remember right they are Run 3s. When they stopped selling them one of the dumping grounds for the remaining units was Salt Lake City so they were not hard to find in Garage Sales in Utah... I was planning on putting them up when I made sufficient progress on the computer stuff I have been selling as of late I had no idea these were so high priced on eBay.. holy crap! crazy.. Even some of the O2s are crazy priced..
  3. I can get in with a proxy but there are some things that do not quite work right.. posting attachments does not work for example.. I am sure it is not my ISP blocking the site.. and I can walk down the street with my laptop and find a new network and it works fine so its nothing on my machines. I can perfrom traceroutes just fine from home. I tried several different dns servers.. I am guessing at this point that there is a block of IP addresses being blocked by either AtariAge or the provider AtariAge uses. I'v sent several PMs and gone through the "contact us" link. I've pretty much just given up at this point.

  5. no.. They never asked me to stop.. They just asked if I had a complete set and if I could possibly scan them faster. My problem is my home IP address is banned by atariage. I can use a proxy to post basic stuff but thats about it... So right now I have to do posts with pics and formatting from work - not a huge problem but it torqs me that I can't get it fixed and to be honest it has killed enthusiasm lately.. I'll post up one tomorrow - The one with the first detailed article on the Atari 8-bits by chriss crawford..
  6. OK, guess it is time to split this up I've had multiple people ask about the magazines and catalogs.. I've been offered $50.00 which is more than fair so assuming the person still wants them they are sold.. There are a couple of other random offers I need to sort through before seeing what is left.
  7. Hi guys.. I know there are a few replies for various parts.. just waiting a day or two to see if someone wants the whole shebang. The mailing costs in the US would run about $65.00 ....
  8. Well hey look, Texas Instruments TI-99/4a Items!! A long time ago I was toying with getting into the TI-99/4a. I purchased a few items, stuck them in the corner, and never got around to doing anything else with them. TI-99/4a computer.. This is a boxed unit that has never been taken out of the box. Still in the internal plastic and all of the accessories are still wrapped up in there. The box itself is in pretty good shape though there is a 2 inch by two inch tear on one of the sides. Various Accessories: Boxed programs on cart: Muchman, Household Budget Management. The other box (TI Extended BASIC) contains two largish manuals: TI Extended BASIC and "101 programming Tips & tricks for the TI-99/4a" there are also a couple of reference cards. The module is not in the box. Two voice modules - one with a manual. manuals for two games: Tombstone city and Indoor soccer An Assembler/Editor reference card and manual for Wired remotes then there is the interface for the TI-99/4a to the expansion box and a TI power supply Expansion Box Expansion box with disk drive. There is a disk drive and a disk drive controller car in the box. Various Disks various disks including: Editor Assembler part A and B Pirate Adventure Tunnels of Doom Three disks labeled "Scottt Johnson - Programming disk" two disks labels E/A (A and B) One disk labeled "Word Pro" Two unlabeled disks The disks have been stored in a protective case that itself was in a plastic container that was in my cellar. Catalogs for stuff they used to sell: magazines: I have not researched what this stuff is going for today.. Planning on doing that later tonight. I would like to sell it all in one fail swoop. If anyone wants to cough up 200.00 plus shipping (the expansion box is heavy) all the magic can be yours.. Barring that I will start parting it out in a few days Thanks for reading.
  9. ThumpNugget, Did you already sell the 800XL, do you ship to Canada? Thanks Hey there... yeah sorry they are both gone. Sorry for the late reply.. AtariAge is *still* blocking my IP address - not complaining its only been two months and numerous requests .. I am only able to reply no because I am at my sons house..
  10. No love for these?? I've put them on on eBay...
  11. Atari 800XL with Rambo 256K upgrade. This machine was used to run a BBS in the late 80's and early nineties (BBS Express Node 0009 for the nostalgic). The machine works with no issues though there are some wear marks on the spacebar and the option buttons - the machine was loved by someone $70.00 + Shipping - $65.00 if you do not want the power supply. ..and an Atari XEP80. Sadly I bought this from a gentleman some time ago that decided to use the box to mail it to me despite assurances that would not happen.. So the unit is boxed but it has a mailing label on it. Complete with cables, original disk, power supply, and manual. $35+Shipping
  12. This is SOLD. Also those askign about the Action! Cart and Manual - That also is SOLD. Another Batch in the next couple of days - Rambo 256K 800XL, Boxed Atari XEP80, etc...

  14. Hey there.. Thanks much for the offer The list at the start of the topic is no longer accurate - about 20 magazines are missing from it but I no longer have the ability to edit it. I'll get a current list together. I will get another mag put up tomorrow.. I know I have been slacking lately
  15. Stuff from the next box in my closet, Kinda a small batch this time: TRS-80 model-1 with Power supply - This is the model with more memory and level II BASIC. Books: TRS-80 Enclyclopdia, Intro to TRS-80 Graphics, Interfacing to the TRS-80 Books 1 and 2, Level I manual, Level II BASIC manual, More TRS-80 BASIC, and a manual fro the DMP-110 Level II BASIC Instruction Courses: 4 cassettes I also have a monitor but when I pulled it out to test it did not turn on... very sad! If anyone wants it and the buyer of the rest of this stuff does not want it I'll send it for free plus shipping.
  16. Yeah.. and 5 and 6 need to get this stuff shipped off first.. I Opened up the next box and its mostly TRS-80 stuff (model 1) so it may be of limited interest here.. I will also be puting up TI-99 stuff (expansion module, disks, etc), more Atari 8-bit stuff, Atari ST stuff (Mega STe and a Falcon).. I still have the Mac-65 cart/book. Did I price that too high? How about $24.00 plus shipping?
  17. Hi people.. looks like everything is spoken for except for the 800XL and mac-65 cart/docs.
  18. Sorry for the formatting above.. My home IP address is *still* being blocked by this site and the proxy server only sorta works.. C'mon Al! please!! Fix it already :-/
  19. Hmmm some prices.. Games: 30 bucks + Shipping for the lot .... SpartaDos: Gone except for the R-time Cart - so say $15.00+shipping for that... 800XL: $25 + ship ..... BBS Stuff: $15 + Ship .... MAC-65: $30+ship
  20. opening up the next box in my closet.. Here is the next group of stuff I am selling with a heavy sigh... I plan on putting these up on eBay later on tonight so here your is shot to beat them to it Entertaining offers on some or all of it... Mac-65 Cart and Manual: SpartDos Manuals, Disks, R-Time8, Backup Software /manuals (2 pics). The R-time has soe scratches on the cart becuse the previous owner taped a repalcement battery to the case. There is also a cart with no casing in the picture. I think this is an Action! cart - the PCB is labeled 1985 OSS on the back and the cover on the Eprom says "Action" with the number 3.0 below it... Probably just an old action! cart that most likely no longer works. Atari 800XL and Power Supply - I also have the TV hookup and Cables if they are wanted: BBS Express! - This was for Node 009 .. There is also two BBS game disks: NEBULA and Reversi/Chess. There are also disks here for BBCS (the Bulliten Board Construction Set) and the Antic disk at the Bottom has the AMIS BBS. And finally a few games: From Sirius Software: Spider City (Cart), Alpha Shield (Cart), and Twerps (Disk) - The Twerps box was not treated with TLC by the previous owner and has some crushing (see pic) From Computer Magic: Pogoman (cassette) with a so-so box and Mad-netter (casette)
  21. It lasted all of 4 hours on eBay so no biggie I think a lot of people aer broke these days.. I was suprised I saw very little action on the MIO unit though tons of watchers on eBay... I opened up another bin this morning to do another batch today.. 25. Hi people.. Sorry for the long delay. For some reason my IP address is being blocked by this site.. Going through a proxy works but I am unable to upload photos, add links (they get edited down) etc.. It has been nearly a month and I quite frankly I\'m at the end of my patience of trying to get it fixed. I did want to post the last few mags.. Hopefully someone can reply and repost them as a links if they turn out wrong: http://www.strikequick.com/BYTE/AtariUser%2017%201992-09%20Magazine%20Reviews.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/BYTE/AtariUser%2018%201992-10%20The%20New%20Falcon%20P.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/BYTE/AtariUser%2019%201992-11%20Gemulator.pdf http://www.strikequick.com/BYTE/AtariUser%2021%201993-10%20Jaguar%20First%20Look.pdf
