  1. The Commando (from Activision's Commando)?
  2. I went poking around on Digital Leisure's website, and they have a CD-ROM version of Dragon's Lair that the press release indicates was released in 2001. Could this be the rerelease that's been mentioned? On the site, they refer to the game as "Dragon's Lair Arcade Authentic Version". You can order it direct from them for twenty dollars. There's also a 20th Anniversary box set that is about to be released, that includes DVD's of Dragon's Lair, Dragon's Lair II, and Space Ace.
  3. Stan, you are just too cool for words. Thanks for making the list!
  4. The new version looks like it's going to be pretty incredible. You can find out all about it here: Dragon's Lair 3D
  5. The Mountain King Explorer? This game has been a blast!
  6. That is beyond funny! That really came back and bit him!
  7. I have to agree. I've always enjoyed Buck Rogers. A nice, fast-paced, straightforward space shoot 'em up. It's a blast at the later levels, when the action really speeds up. Now, if you want a BAD 2600 port by Sega, my vote would go to Congo Bongo...
  8. 1. Jason (from No Escape) 2. Quickclaw 3. Dudley Dashly 4. Mad Bomber Prize: Jawbreaker
  9. Favorite? Wow, kind of a toughie. I really enjoy Defender, Pit Stop, and Wizard of Wor. Least favorite? Computer War (WarGames).
  10. Yorgle Quickclaw Sir Dudley Dashly (the hero of Jungle Hunt) Mad Bomber Prize: Star Wars:The Arcade Game
  11. Strangely enough, my favorite would have to be Elevator Action, I guess because it was such a good port of the arcade game, and I was completely addicted to it...
  12. That one gets my vote as one of the funniest to date! Great work, as always!
  13. The Stampede Cowboy The Seaquest Sub Quickclaw The Kaboom Mad Bomber Prize: Star Trek SOS
  14. Getting to play the binary on z26 made me want to get my hands on a cart. The voice reproduction on the 2600 hardware is nothing short of amazing. Berzerk is an all-time favorite of mine, and the addition of the voice, along with the color changes, make the game feel much more like the arcade version. Very, very cool!
  15. I just fired Skeleton up in z26 this morning, and it is a blast! Nice, spooky atmosphere. Great use of sound. Great action. A really outstanding game, Eric! I hope that carts do become available. I'd definitely be in the market for one. The $25 neighborhood would be perfectly reasonable.
  16. Dig Dug The Kaboom Mad Bomber Ms Pac Man Mother Kangaroo Prize: Crash Dive
  17. Opportunities to add 40 carts that you need in one transaction are pretty rare. I would have loved to run across such a chance when I first started collecting. Over all, I think you got pretty good deal for the money.
  18. The Freeway Chicken The Ghost of Old Man Graves Panama Joe Frankenstein's Monster Prize: Cosmic Commuter Fun game!

I would definitely be one of those people! Glad to hear they'll be available though AA soon!
  20. Y'know...one of these days I'm going to have to get my hands on a Basic Math cart and give it a try, just so I can experience how horrible it is first hand. (Kinda like everyone needing to see Plan 9 from Outer Space at least once... )
