  1. All of mine are in boxes, it works, but I think the UK style snapcases that came with the Neo-geo pocket color games would be nice. for one they are small and probably the perfect size for the cards, but the down would be not big enough for the manuals.
  2. I believe this is the fellow in question....
  3. Yes. But in the Lynx I schematic it is called Q11 and in the Lynx II schematics (which I don't have) it is Q12. Or was it the other way around? But the component is the same. Somebody should grab a bag of these mosfets and set up a Lynx shop. Songbird?, AtariAge? If I ever get a broken Lynx myself I could do it. But currently all my cats are working. -- Karri Its Q12 on the lynx II I finally found a local shop out there (southern california) that I can get these through. So I ordered some up I also found a couple ebay auctions for cases of 6 or so defective units, which I am very tempted to purchase and see if I can maybe ressurect them ...
  4. I'm curious.. Is it really worth it to overclock? I mean would you really notice and appreciate the difference in speed?
  5. I know that I'm somewhat new here and all, but I'm up for 10 or so of those as well, that is if it is still in the works?
  6. Im in total agreement on trying to play them in direct sunlight... not easy unless you want to look like your riding the short bus... has anyone thought about changing the backlighting to a bright white led? might work better and save tons of battery life.. I would very much like to have three different brightness levels for the backlight also. I even thought of reducing the power for the tube but due to the technology I believe that it is capable of ON/OFF functionality only. I have not tried to lower the voltage yet. -- Karri you know, that's a really good idea... Im gonna look into that, I bet there's a way, just hopefully without having to add a momentary switch or something
  7. walkmen thats sooo 80's oh I had 5 of them I know that's funny huh! I even had one of those sony yellow "waterproof" ones!

  9. K now Im starting to feel old, I was taking my gameboy and my lynx to school back in the early 90's.... like 91 or 92... We didnt get in trouble for having them back then, we only got in trouble for walkmen.. the tape players.. probably dont remember those tho, right? lol
  10. thanks alot! I found a shop walking distance from my work that just opened to the public but carries pretty much anything an electronics junkie could possibly want. I'll give an update tomorow on what I find.
  11. Have you found where to purchase these mosfets? I've got a lynx 2 that I've been trying so hard to get running, and I hate having a wire hanging out that I twist together when I want to play (the bat- jumped to headphone gnd). I'm new here and not trying to step on toes but I cant seem to find parts. thanks in advance
