At this point, I think Atari is grasping at straws for any potential revenue stream to settle legal issues with Tin Giant. I'm pretty sure a default judgement will be forthcoming in favor of Tin Giant. I'd be willing to bet Tin Giant will put a lien on Atari assets. I don't even think Atari will be allowed to sell their joysticks, let alone their Atari Vaporous Console (tm) until their own legal issues are resolved.

Anyone have a twister board they want to sell? Superufo is supposed to have some more coming (https://www.sellmyretro.com/offer/details/twister-board-for-ts2068-with-zx-spectrum-emulator-rom-on-board-28470), but if I can find one in the mean time, that would be great. Either way I plan on buying one from superfo as I want to support those who produce limited hardware runs for orphaned systems.

You can check for the partitions in Windows by going to the Administrative tools/Computer Management application.

You may need to file the tips flat.
Thanks for the help. I thought about using vice grips, however, my anal-ness wants me to keep everything stock and in original condition as much as possible, including the screws. I really don't want to scratch up the screws.
Since I cant find the driver, I'll probably take your advice and then try to be as careful as possible.

I'd like to mod my Super Pong(tm). Can anyone point me to a source for a screwdriver or security tip to remove the weird security screws used on the Super Pong? I saw in one of the forums that people have made their own, but I would prefer to go the lazy route and just buy one if possible.

The Jaguar SD cart is absolutely awesome; as far as the new VCS is concerned, that remains to be seen. I hope I'm wrong, but right now it appears the VCS is doomed to be nothing but the next generation Ouya (assuming if it ever makes it to market).

Somehow that makes me feel better being so far down the the list. Let the early adopters be the guinea pigs! (Just kidding, I'm sure they're all well tested, as I'd hate to wait even longer for a new rev) 😁

If you have any interesting old hardware, I'd be up for trading...
Atari PC1, ABC, Falcon case & shielding -- I'm sure there's more I'm looking for!
For the PC1/ABC you could have a few cartridges.
So I assume ~$175.00 - $180.00US with shipping to U.S.? The Krikzz EverDrive V3 (N64 SD multi-cart) currently sells for $193.00US on Amazon. Your price is not at all out of line with the product you are providing (especially if/when Jag CD support is provided).

For those thinking the Jaguar port was sloppy, just look at the 32X one.I'm eager to play CyranoJ's fixed version since in my book it will be the ultimate Doom experience, given the CRY coloring.
Or the 3DO version. Probably the most capable machine competing with the jaguar. https://kotaku.com/heres-why-the-3do-port-of-doom-sucked-1671138312

Sorry, hazy memory, though my point is that you might find searching for memory for one of these other models may be more fruitful... if they are indeed pin-compatible. Someone also sold cloned memory on eBay as recently as 2016, unfortunately the chip in mine is hard to read, it says something like "poiner", plus I can't quite make out the last letter, it might be a "v" I may have bought it from Arcadeshopper.com.
Arcadeshopper.com does appear to have the modules. Thanks for the info

I recently acquired a fully working Model 100 laptop. Sadly, it only has the stock 8K of ram. Does anyone know where I can purchase additional ram modules? I'd hate to purchase another Model 100 off ebay just to pillage its ram. Club 100 (http://www.club100.org/) used to sell ram, but their online store shuttered some time ago. Hopefully one of you helpful people can direct me to another source.

Add me to the list as well,
BTW, Is there somewhere I can find the software for the old VecFlash Serial version? I recently came across my old cart, but I'm not sure where I put a copy of the loader software.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Wolfenstein 3D as a must-have for the jaguar. It has higher resolution graphics than virtually every other version, an overhead map Doom, *and* the addition of both a Flamethrower and Rocket Launcher! The frame rate is very smooth as well. It is a major inprovement from the PC version.
Really, my only complaint is that there is no way for analog control on the jaguar.
-
It also has digital versions of Swordquest #1 and Centipede #1 (2017 versions).
Plus some Red Sonja (unrelated to Atari, but I am a fan).
This one also supports the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (a worthy organization, and I am a member).
I've bought tons of Humble Bundles before and highly recommend them.
I totally missed the Centipede and Swordquest comics. The deal just got even better

There is a new Humble Bundle (HUMBLE COMICS BUNDLE: DYNAMIC FORCES 25TH ANNIVERSARY) for $25+ that is primarily comic book related. However, it also contains PDFs of both the 'Art of Atari Poster Book' and the 'Art of Atari' book by Tim Lapetino. It also comes with a coupon for 25% off the hardbound version of the book.
If you love the Atari 2600 box artwork, you will definitely love these books. I have both books in print (signed of course) and they are well worth the money. I was going to purchase another copy of the Poster Book just to remove the pages and frame them individually. Now I will be able to simply print the PDF pages without damaging a physical book.
If you like comic books, that's an extra bonus.

I am working on a DPC+ BB game, and would like to seed the random number generator so I can reproduce the same ordered sequence of random numbers. If I set (seed) the standard 'rand' variable in a non-DPC+ kernel, the 'rand' call always return the same ordered random results as predicted. However, when seeding the 'rand16' variable I was unable to generate a predictable random sequence.
Now that I have moved to the DPC+ kernel, I have no idea how to seed its 32-bit rand value (or if it is even possible). I tried assigning rand to a seed value, but it doesn't appear to have any effect on the random sequence.
Does anyone know how to seed the DPC+ rand variable to generate a predictable random sequence?
If I can't seed the DPC+ rand value, is it somehow possible to use the standard 'rand' call in a DPC+ build (which does appear to work as expected)?
Any help would be appreciated.

We already have this. There exists a damn fine Atari 8-bit core for Eclaire, Mist, and MistER FPGA boards.
FPGAs are currently way too expensive for the average consumer. To appeal to the mass market, it needs to look and behave like the original machine *and* do so at an attractive price. Granted, an FPGA can load multiple cores and simulate a variety of machines, but it is doubtful they will ever be attractive to anyone but hard core users.
-
Except it's not.
Bummer!
Ok. let me rephrase - 'Would someone please make a hardware version of the Atari 8-bit line using modern hardware?'. Curt Vendel made an almost-perfect Atari 2600 on a chip for the Atari Flashback 2 that can be modded to add a cartridge port. What I would like to see is a complete recreation of the Atari computers and allow the Atari computers to live on for another generation or two. Who knows the longevity of the existing hardware. Pokey chips alone are getting harder and harder to come by, and it is doubtful new ones will ever be made again. The current machines will eventually break and fade to obscurity without a refresh.

The mini C64 *might* be a C64-on-a-chip and not emulation. In the past the C64DTV was sold (and now sells for more than a real C64). It is a true hardware version of the C64 and not emulation. It is desirable for hackers since the PCB included solder points to add a PS2 keyboard, additional joysticks, and even external drives to the board. If would even boot to basic with a hack. It's possible that it licensed the hardware design - I haven't seen anything to indicate whether it is an emulator or a hardware solution.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C64_Direct-to-TV
I'd prefer to see a real hardware implementation of the Atari. On the other hand, I have a SNES mini, NES minI, Famicom mini, several Atari Flashbacks and several Raspberry Pis, Even though I have the original hardware of each console emulated, I still enjoy the nostalgia and design of the emulated consoles with the added benefit of HDMI. The raspberry PI takes too long to boot, and ruins the hardware experience for me. At least a dedicated emulated machine performs like the original console and boots immediately. It is also much easier to carry and set up. I would use my Atari computers a lot more if I didn't have to unpack a large machine, connect the audio and video cables, pull out a hard drive or my SIO2PC cable (which requires I have a PC handy), and my Side2 or MyIDE-II cart.
Of course the Atari version should include a functional keyboard as well. Or possibly make it similar to the XEGS that uses a detached keyboard. If a USB keyboard with Atari keycaps could be manufactured, it would work for the 'min' version, and could be sold to the emulation market as well..
