Got a tooth pulled out about 6 hours ago, dang it's painful, how much longer will this torture last ?

  I guess I was lucky. When I had 9 teeth extracted I had no pain.

  Go take 3 advils (or any 200mg ibuprofen). That's common stuff if your dentist didn't prescribe anything.

  You gotta ask for pain meds these days. They'd rather be lazy and prescribe nothing. Dentists are on a pretty short leash in terms of prescribing Vicodin but they can prescribe them.
