  1.

I think The incredible thing about the discovery of Treasure Discovery was WHERE it was discovered,in Australia of all places.

And there could be more vaporware titles discovered here also.

I know for a fact that there is a non Atari person in Australia whom was married to Atari rep who for whatever reason dealt in super rare Atari titles, including many R10 titles, when the rep died a few years ago,a lot of these games (but not all) were put out in a garage sale and were bought by a person who them put them on ebay for sale.

The games this person had was mind boggling.

I bet there are also Homevision games there.

I managed to buy many of these rare games for my collection.

Now what I have been told there are still many more rare Atari games still locked up in a garage somewhere by the widow of the Atari rep and at this stage the person is not yet willing to sell them.

But its just a matter of time. :)

and the legend live on

  2. I don't really follow prices of PAL games, but I'd say around 30-50 USD apiece for Video Gems cartridges, depending on condition. Boxed versions will go for considerably more, although this copy of Surfer's Paradise sold for under 100 USD...

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2213100053391?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=221310005339&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

I'd consider that one a steal. These games originally came in unique book-style boxes and are not easy to find complete with the stickers.

It was a steal, but not quite complete,it was missing the instruction manual.

Dont know how I missed that auction :?
