I've got a SIO2PC serial version. Is there a way I can use this to create tapes to boot from my cassette drive? I'm kind of a noob on these atari 8 bit computers.

ATARI Cassette belts now available -1010, 410, XC12
SINGLE TOOTH replied to Magic Knight's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
I need a set of 410 belts, are they still available? -
Just got this 130xe computer in a lot. Turned it on, and get a green screen. Swapping power supplies with a known good one, results in a slightly more green screen. Still doesn't work. I opened the case and swapped the only socketted chip (the CPU?) and still nothing. The RF shield has some rust on it, not sure how damp it's been. Something I did notice is the color adjustment pot works when moving it. Anyone know how to fix?

Commodore 64 disk drive repair?
SINGLE TOOTH replied to sleftwich's topic in Commodore 8-bit Computers
First thing to do is clean the drive heads and possibly lubricate the rails the head rides on. -
C64 - Broken glass capacitor @ c43 - replacement?
SINGLE TOOTH replied to SINGLE TOOTH's topic in Commodore 8-bit Computers
Thanks, I'm not so good at breaking down the codes on these packages. I ordered some 7805's to replace with. I don't think it should have been this hot. You can see it was even browning the board. -
C64 - Broken glass capacitor @ c43 - replacement?
SINGLE TOOTH replied to SINGLE TOOTH's topic in Commodore 8-bit Computers
I found a voltage regulator was super hot even when only powered on a minute or two and actually was burning the board. I wonder if that's causing some of the issues. Anyone know a suitable replacement? It's labeled UA7805UC. -

I have not, I have no replacements. I basically have no Commodore chips to swap. -

I still just get a pure black screen without a cartridge inserted. I'll check the link.
