Weird. Never heard of that before. I'm not sure if im understanding the problem... Are you using RF? Otherwise, there is a Turbobooster accessory that plugs in the back and gives you composite video. Otherwise, maybe the cartridge slot is dirty? Maybe its not making contact with all of the pins or something. Try cleaning that off maybe. Can you control the sprite?

I wonder where that prototype system is now.....In a landfill, perhaps? Believe it or not, but I have never actully used an official 7800 proline controller. Atari stuff other than the 2600 is a pretty rare find around my area. I have never experienced the Thumb-Numbing action of the pro-line. I have only known the misery of the 5200 quad side button action.

Those prototype controllers look badass. I would have loved to use them. The system looks cool, except for the slit-buttons. They should have used regular buttons. By the way, can you use jaguar controllers with a 7800, and have 2 fire buttons?

Oh, Man. An RPG would be really kick-ass to have on a 7800! I would buy it indefinatly. SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE OR PORT AN RPG TO THE 7800!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now how to resume progress.....

How much were you hoping to get?

How good is the picture quality? Is it really that good? I have done some a/v mods on the 5200, and 2600. The video quality was very dissapointing. I want to know if these mods are really worth it. Its the picture cristal clear, or is there color bleeding or other abnormalities?

Did you ever find out the problem?

What else did he do? Wouldnt it kinda suck, going through your whole career making only pac-man games?

That kinda reminds me of when gamestop, or maybe it was funcoland back then, was selling super mario brothers games for 10 cents each. I bought 10 of them right there. I was going to buy a shizload of them and horde them all. But then they jacked the price up to $1 shortly thereafter.

Thats a pretty good list. The watara supervision is the worst handheld ever. HAHA! The hyperscan. That thing is only like a year old, and its already at goodwill in vast numbers! I remember watching the commercials for that thing, and predicting EXACTLY the fate of the unit. That system didnt even look good on paper. Didnt gameboy try doing something with scanning cards, and failing as well? The Action Max! My friend had one of these and we were just talking about it. I vaguly rembered something like a vcr video game system, and he couldn't remember much more, but he did have one. I tried to search on the internet but couldnt figure out what it was called until this tread!

I was wondering if anyone knows a good resourse for high-quality scans of Atari showcase type photos like this one: I was wondering if anyone has any good scans that will do these pictures justice. These pics would be very sexy if they were scanned properly. Preferably for the 5200, but any Atari products will do. I am also looking for scans from retail outfits with an emphasis on the video game and electronics sections.

on my junior, ive noticed my power switch will cause erratic gameplay if not thrown completely. Maybe they get dirty, or worn out. Try wiggling the switch a bunch of times to see if that clears any dirt out. That made my jr work a little better. Otherwise, it should be an easy fix, if it is just the switch, though.

I miss my jaguar... Maybe I'll buy another one at the midwest gaming classic if I can get one cheap.

aw man....Too bad. I was going to go by meself on sat, (dont have many classic gaming freinds) but then my buddy said he wanted to go, but he will be in chicago till sat afternoon. So Im going with him on Sunday. I would rather go on saturday though...
