  1. The 5200 is worth it's size in gold. I don't really know how much they are worth, but you probly got a good deal. How much did u pay? How many Joystick ports do you have in the front of the unit? 2 or 4? What do you mean by having 2 wires coming out the back? There should only be one wire coming out (the RF cable.) Unless that wire is stripped down. Are they bare wires, or do they have connectors on them? The Power cord plugs into the 5200 if it is a 2 port system, or it plugs into the RF Modulator if it is a 4-port system. Its the 4 port and I payed 5 bucks for it. Its missing peices. If it is a 4-Port, there should only be one wire that is connected to the unit and cant be removed. (Without taking the case apart). So you have the 4-port system, and that is all you got? No controllers, power adapters...I still dont konw what you mean when you say there is 2 wires comming out of it...Im trying to understand so i can help you out.

  3. I love that label. Totally reminds me of the pirate company's labels. Beagle Brothers-esque. The box art is pretty cool too. I whipped up my own art quick just for fun. That pic inspired me. Chek it out.

  5. I would have paid the $50 for a boxed copy. I just got back to this site after a 5-year hiatus, and I wasnt even aware adventure II was out. The last time I was at this site, I remember the guys still talking about what the main character should be. They were discussing keeping the Block guy, or remaking the character. Anyway, Im glad they kept the block guy though. And I am REALLY glad they made it for my favorite system. Although, probably all 250 boxed copies were probably all pre-ordered 10 years ago, knowing some of these people on the forums.

  7. The store said more will be shipped today. When will we know when they will be shipped? I ordered on 5/28.
  8. I had the same 7800 for about 13 years, and ever since I have had it, the cartridge teeth have been busted off of the system. This proved to be VERY aggravating because it was a bitch trying to get any games with dust covers inserted. But I have finally remedied the problem. After several failed attempts of restoring the broken teeth, I have discovered a rudimentary way that works and doesn't break right away. First I took a paper clip and cut 2 1 inch pieces of wire off. Then I held the piece of wire in a pliers while I got it red-hot under a butane torch. While the wire is still hot, plunge it into the plastic where the teeth used to be. This is the most crucial part of the process, so try and keep the wire straight. Give it a few minutes to cool. Then I straightened the wire carefully, and trimmed them down to about 1/4 inch. Then I covered the area with 2 part epoxy and allowed time to set. Carts will now insert into the system once again!
  9. That's what i thought, and i agree
  10. One tooth at a time? You may want to start by getting this game. HAHAHAHA!
  11. So would this qualifiy as a label variation??? Atariage only has the spectravision, no spectravideo at all. I think they should put that in.
  12. Im wondering if I could get a decent price on a 5200 cart made...I would like to have Xari Arena and Millipede Made. Please contact me if you have the power.
  13. From the atarimania site: Planet Patrol 1983 Spectravideo SA-202 Standard NTSC Original dump(s) available Planet Patrol 1983 Spectravideo SA-202 Standard PAL
  14. Can this thread be deleted already? I did it as an april fool's joke about 5 years ago. As for the Atari's biggest fan part, I had to sell my collection due to financial troubles. I am still broke, but I am rebuilding my collection.
  15. So you're saying this is a pal cart? Ill have to throw it in the ol' Atari and see if it plays on the TV. Now I do notice it says Spectravideo Internation on the very top.
  16. I am going through the process of re-databasing my 2600 games (hard-drive crash ) when I stumbled upon a tasty cartridge known as Planet Patrol. I attempted to search the AtariAge game database of Spectravision to see what games they all produced when I looked at the cart again. Atariage Does not have a listing for Spectravideo It has SpectraVIDEO, not Spectravision listed everywhere as the manufacturer. On the Label, on the Plastic casing (even on the back) all say Spectravideo. I never heard of Spectravideo before. Anyone have any idea about this? anyone else have this Cart? Here's Proof.
  17. Its not enough to be pornographic? It HAS to include premarital sex? Ha! Premarital is preferred but any sex will do...
  18. Like who? I would be interested in a couple games. I would defiantly like the Centipede for 7800 with trackball support, and 2600 versions if available.
  19. I have an Atari 1050 disk drive for sale/trade. I cannot tell you if this unit works, because I no longer have an atari computer, and I never had any software on floppys to test it. I have had it sitting in my collection for a while, and I am purging it. Since I have no use for it, maybe someone does. I'm fairly certain the power supply is for this unit, but I'm not going t0 plug it in until I am certain it's the right one. It has a part # C017945. It outputs 9v AC 31 VA. ********UPDATE******** I was told it was the right Powersupply, so I plugged it in, and flipped the switch, and the LED came on and the Drive Cycled.
  20. I'm Kinda confused now.... I ordered Adventure II earlier this week. So the numbered copies are all gone, I am assuming. So what will my copy include? It wont have a box? On the order page it doesnt really tell you what edition you are getting. After reading this thread I got confused as to what my copy will include. Also, the page says "Adventure II is presently out of stock, but you can order it today and it will be shipped to you by June 1st." So he is shipping more on June 1st? Or it will be here on June 1st? Forgive my Ignorance.
  21. So the trakball test program is really a fully working trakball compatible centipede??? How are people downloading the rom and playing on 7800 hardware? Can u buy the game?
  22. Is the Hacked 7800 Centipede availible for purchase? I would like to think the 2600 trackball i just bought could be used for something.....
  23. Awesome room! Im comming over...We will finish the whiskey then compete for high scores.
