    I just bought a Colecovision, but it acts like the joystick is stuck to the left. Even when there isn't one plugged in? Anyone advise before I make a forum post somewhere?

      AS-IS on Ebay means they tested it and know it doesn't work properly. I am surprised they sold it with a power supply. Usually they leave that out so they can claim that they couldn't test it.

    Anyone know if the Atari 8bit computer av cables are the same as commodore or TI99?

      The Atari and 99/4A cables both use DIN-5 connectors, but the pinouts are different.

    I went for a short time. I liked it, it was nice to meet some other people. I only caught a couple presentations, but they were enjoyable.

    Thanks. Best Electronics made it sound like they were a different revision keyboard like how the 800XL has 4-5 variants. I was also spending the morning working on those on some new computers I got. I could only get one working right, but it's super sensitive. Just resting your hands on the keyboard darn near presses the key.

    Is there a way to tell if your 130xe keyboard has springs I side without taking it all apart? I looked at Best Electronics site and they say they have rubber some replacements for xe's without springs so the keyboard doesn't feel like slop.

    Just wondering if anyone here has any stories of using, seeing, or knowing about people using A8 machines in business. I would like to hear about it. I am just curious about stories about a corporation, or a mom and pop store using an Atari for their small business, what software was used, etc. Seems that compared to modern machines, these machines could do so little, but I would like to hear about people using them for their intended purposes not just games.

    Bought some Atari 8 bit computers. I hope they're worth it.

      I've always been a fan of the 800, started on the 800, and naturally for the longest time everyone swore by the XL and XE models. There are a lot of games there. So I think you'll have fun.

    I found I had another 128 PSU so I'm going to hack the cable and put a male DIN7 connector on. Seems like the safer bet. I never knew about the C64 PSU issue.

    Apparently the power supply I have is for a Plus/4. I can trade for a 64 PSU.
