I've tried with both static and DHCP settings, and no luck. After the system boots, after plugging the network cable back in, and then it works just fine. I've swapped out the cable, and different XBOXs have no issues booting from the same cable into the switch. It's just plain odd. I like to keep it plugged into the network so I can FTP and such, it is a pain to keep unplugging it. It never seems to boot past the opening XBOX startup screen when it's plugged in. I don't get it.

That can happen with a dirty game, make sure you clean it well. Use a pencil eraser on the contacts then follow up with a q tip and alcohol.

I have an Xbox I soft modded, but the Xbox logo freezes up if the Ethernet cord is plugged in. If no Ethernet is plugged in, it boots fine! You ever hear of this issue? It drives me nuts!

Hi, looking for a broken CD-I, has to be the smaller revision, pictured (400 series). I have one, but it doesn't work well because the lid for the CD cover has a broken clip for the CD balancer thing. Can also be just the plastic or just the CD door if not the console.

It's been there for me as long as I can remember.

Scored a bare 2-port 5200 console for $5. The system itself is super clean, no scratches. The film over the metal trim actually peeled right off and wasn't sizzled to the metal!! That's a first. Also got 2 5200 controllers for $3 a piece.
