Yes I have, they are one that do not accept computers. They will only take monitors and peripherals.

Please believe me when I tell you I have been scouring for a while. Craigslist, thrifts, friends, nada. I think there is only 1 thrift shop that even accepts computers anymore and they wanted $70 for some POS Pentium 2 system. The 486 selection dried up big time........ Getting desperate here.

Would like to Trade or sell this copy of a Black label PSX Final Fanatasy VIII. It's complete as far as I can tell. Case is in excellent shape. Includes the mini-walkthrough and instruction manual. They look like they have only been opened once or twice. The discs are all there, and are in great shape. I'm concentrating on SNES games right now, if you wanna trade any, let me know. I should also have a PSX system to trade too, if anyone needs it.

The guy was pretty helpful, but I should have asked more questions. I didn't think about the possibility of getting a refurb until after I disconnected the call. He did say I would have to 're-download' the VC titles, I assumed I would be able to for free. I'm starting to think about keeping my Wii unit, I put alot of hours into the save games. Maybe I'll send it in if I get a brand new Wii, but I don't want a refurb. I still want a replacement SSBB case though. I'll have to call them back.

Got a call back from Nintendo. They offered to replace both the console and the game. The bad thing is, thanks to the stupid decision to not allow certain game saves to be copied to an SD card (SSBB, Mario Kart Wii) I will lose all my save data! The guy on the phone said they did that because they want people to play the games, not just copy saves..... I for one, am really pissed off you cannot copy the saves. Now I lose all my hours I put into Brawl and Mario Kart. I wonder if they are going to give me a refurb, or a new console. I hope I don't have any more problems with the drive. The console is working really well now, except for the nicks they put in the case.

Alright, so I got a few read errors when playing Super Smash Brothers. I decided that was enough and used Nintendo's service to ship and repair the console free of charge (even shipping) due to the known issue. So today I get it back. I open it up and start hooking up the console. I packed it well when I shipped it out to them. I noticed some fresh marring from a box cutters on the console it self. I was a little perterbed, but then I look at the Smash Bros. case. It has slices all on the back of the case where someone went crazy with the box cutter. The cuts went through the clear plastic and even sliced the paper. I was a pretty upset, because I knew I should have only sent the disc in a different case, but Nintendo suggested shipping it with the Smash Bros. case. I called Nintendo regarding this issue and complained. They said a representative will contact me within 48 hrs. I also informed the lady on the phone that my Wii console has some new scratches in it, but she told me that is how Minilec (Nintendo subcontractors) received it... Yeah right... The good news: The invoice states that they "REPL DAMAGED COMPONENTS" so I hope they replaced the laser unit instead of just a cleaning which Nintendo states is all that is needed....(Yeah Right, that's why it won't read dual layer discs...) When I looked at the play history, they just played Smash Bros. for less than a minute. They must have just stuck the disc in and made sure it loaded. However, the drive is now alot quieter. I used to be concerned about how the drive would chug along. I only played the game once, but it did load just fine. Anyone else have any experiences?

I've heard some complaints that 2600 games have more muted colors on a 7800 than on a genuine 2600. That, and aren't there a few carts that don't physically fit in the slot? Sorry, I'm not a 7800 guy. And yeah, the rebooting after a GC game was the only issue I could find with the Wii. But, I included it to be fair. The Wii-Boot is a huge annoyance to me. Every time you change a setting, or exit a program such as Weather or news, the damn system has to reboot.

I just wonder where Nintendo got the roms; If they got them from the "illegal pirates" or dumped the carts themselves.

Yes there is. You can go to the Mario kart channel and invite friends. When you select that option, it brings up the friends in your address book and sends them a message to be a friend on Kart. Edit: Link to an Unlock List
