  1. Ummmm off hand I'd say ... all of them? Well not really, but here's the list: Atari 2600 (Heavy Sixer) Odyssey 2 Colecovision Vectrex Atari 5200 (4 port with S-vid mod) Nintendo NES Gameboy Atari 7800 Atari XEGS Atari Lynx II Atari Jaguar Super Nintendo Sega Genesis with Sega CD and 32x Sega Game Gear Sega Nomad Turbo Grafx16 Turbo Express Nintendo Virtual Boy Ps1 with Sony LCD Screen Sega Saturn Nintendo 64 Gameboy Color Sega Dreamcast Sony Ps2 slim Xbox (x3 all softmodded) Gamecube with Gameboy Player Gameboy Advance SP (x2) Gameboy Micro Nintendo DS (x2) Gamepark GP32 Sony PSP fat Nintendo Wii and The Omnicade (emulation multicade) plus............. Williams The Machine: Bride of Pinbot pinball machine This doesn't include countless handheld and tabletop electronic games or Pong systems. The scary part isn't just that I have all those, it's that I actually have at least 2 of most of them as well as multiple versions of many like different 2600's ect.
  2. First official day of yard sale season for me tomorrow, wish me luck!

      AtariTexas

      Me too! Good luck!

  3. Way too lazy to take pics, but here are some of my recent finds: Thrift store: Boxed Model 1 Sega Genesis, really nice, 95% complete except it was missing the Sonic pack in game - $9.00 Flea Market: Atari 5200 4-port Asterisk version, 3 controllers, 21 games (4 new to me), quite a few manuals and overlays, but missing the switchbox. VERY dirty. Functionality unknown at this time. $30.00 Game store: Atari 2600 Sears Submarine Commander with manual, and Colecovision Looping - both $1.99 each
  4. True, but I guess I meant a CHEAP solution that is available right now, and something that a lot of us might even have sitting around but never thought about.
  5. it would be stupid if someone bought one of those "high priced" systems that DaytonaUSA and Mendon talked about and it dosent work and you can't take it back. Well, no kidding. Maybe I should have clarified: at the flea's I go to, I generally find good deals. It's mostly the "retro game" stores that are the crazy prices to me.
  6. I find most flea markets to be pretty fair, if they have any game stuff at all. I just have a hard time finding anything I need. Like a lot of guys, I have two price ranges. I'm willing to pay a reasonable price for something I want to get for my personal collection. Otherwise, if it's something I think I can sell, I'll only buy it if it's super cheap and can make a good profit.
  7. Two sets of well tuned paddles and Video Olympics, that or Indy 500.
  8. Remembered this thread and just caught it on Ondemand, funny stuff!
  9. The only system I can remember wanting was the Adam. We had a 2600, but the Colecovision/Adam setup seemed like the coolest thing. Now I have a CV of course, but have zero interest in getting the Adam. I'm not really sure why I wanted it back then! I guess I thought the Atari computers were pretty cool too, but I really just wanted to play the games.
  10. I see them at yard sales all the time for $5-$10, so year $40 is insane. Besides, as mentioned, they are kinda crappy anyway, nothing like the FB2.
  11. Go to your local pawn shop. A lot of these places have BOXES of random cables and they will usually let you pull out what you need cheap. The N64 power supply is really distinctive (ie easy to identify in a box) and the AV cables (or those RF adapters) are super common as they are used for SNES and Gamecube too.
  12. You might do better by splitting it up. The systems themselves are interesting enough to collectors that you could probably get $40-50 each just for them. You have a lot of good games, but none that are all that rare. If you had a couple of standard grey n64's to sell, split those into a couple of lots and you would get sales from guys looking to get back into playing them. Collectors wanting the systems will already have most if not all of those anyway. Then again, you got $300 for a lot of really common SNES stuff, so what do I know?
  13. I've seen these before, and never really though much about them. When I saw one this weekend for $10 at a game shop, I thought what the heck, it's cool to have even if I don't use it. It wasn't until I got it home that it occurred to me that this might actually be very useful. Turn out that it's perfect for the task of what I said in the title: it works great as a pass-through for 2600 games that won't fit in an unmodified 7800! For a while, I've been using a 7800 exclusively for 2600 games (to save much needed space and inputs) but now I can finally play those games that just wouldn't fit, like Jawbreaker! Not sure if there will be any picture degradation yet, and whether the switch part is much use, but still it's pretty cool to me!
  14. There's been an iPhone version available since December. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like it gets good ratings.
  15. in this case it was in store made at a location that buys local beef. This is the store I mentioned in the pink slim threads as being more bland and going bad quicker since there is no preservatives or additives. Tastes great when smokey with pepper. If that's the case, I hope you have a huge freezer and cleaned them out!
  16. I don't know how I keep finding Colecovision games out in the wild, but I do. Last night at a used games/music/book store they had a box of Atari and CV carts that I picked through to find these gems: Rocky Super Action Boxing River Raid Beamrider Spy Hunter The Dukes of Hazzard Zengi Up N Down Roc'n Rope Bump n Jump Gateway to Apshai Root Beer Tapper Illusions Q-bert Spectron Star Trek SOS WarGames Gyruss Defender Now some of the labels are a little rough and they all need a good cleaning, but I couldn't complain for ONE DOLLAR A PIECE! Oh, wait, I forgot, they were buy 5 get one free too! So the whole batch was only $15.
  17. Yep, Nintendo stuff is a dime a dozen compared to the coolness that is the Vec.
  18. If you are keeping everything, then I'd say you did ok. If you bought it to flip it, I'd say there's not much meat on the bone at that price.
  19. I'll have to try to catch that, it's a fun little show. The dad is voiced by H. Jon Benjamin, I've been a fan of his since he played Ben on Dr. Katz back in the day.
  20. That's a sweet deal. Are you going to keep the panel the same or change it up?
  21. Nothing worse than flea market vender A-holes who let carts bake in the sun or sit out in the rain weekend after weekend.
  22. You did an amazing job, no doubt, but I have to ask. With the Nomad and a number of other handheld clones on the market, what exactly was the motivation make this?
  23. What system is that for, Sega Master System? What system are you trying to use it with?
  24. No love for Duke Nukem? Sure he's a mashup of a ton of different action stars, but he's still great!
