  1. I've tried to check with a multimeter and I remember some stuff got loose, that's why I asked if the Vcc was connected with some others, and it was. But I don't have some picture of the correct circuit or whatsoever. But I should desolder the socket and do it all over again. Question is if I have time for it . Maybe tommorow or something like that .
  2. Ok great . You're dutch too then?
  3. Why won't you post a picture?
  4. Well in the PM he said it was a FLASH rom.
  5. For me it downloaded quite fast. About 130 kb/s
  6. Ehm he said it was a 512K flash rom. But if something is fried, what can it be?
  7. Ehm right whatever . I tried the original (the GND was broken, but I did make a connection with some solder) and still no visual. Ah I should also mention this: The first jaguar, I opend it a few times before. It gave me a red screen. After a few times I opend it, I didn't got visual. So I doubt it if it has to do with the bootrom.
  8. Yes I ment picture . He said he flashed it in the last bank so I could insert it as it was a 128k rom. He also flashed other BIOS's on it.
  9. Then put it at the normal state .
  10. How am I supposed to flash an eprom? I don't have the equipment. Robert Demming had send me an 512K rom and programmed so that the right bios would get loaded. I might try the original one tommorow I guess.
  11. I desolderd the original roms and replaced it with a socket. One rom is totaly destroyed and one is OK, only 1 pin is broken .
  12. There is no switch. My TV shows a blue screen when there isn't a channel set for it. With RF the screen stays blue, and on scart it turns black, like it should.

  14. Hi all! I have a little problem with a modded jaguar. Please refer to this post: http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.p...p=434645#434645 I also post this here because I think there are more "engineers" in this place than in the jaguar forum . Thanks in advance!
  15. Ok, so today I decided to take another look at my BJL jaguar. I looked at an PM that I got from Robert Demming, and it had some image of the eprom. After doing some stuff I got the rom GOOD in the socket and took my multi-meter. I checked on resistance and all was fine . So I booted up the jaguar, but not image on the TV. I removed the scart cable and hooked up the RF cable. No visual. I did have visual with my working jaguar. I have 3 jaguars, 1 is working and not modded. The other 2 have a socket, 1 is empty and the other one has the BJL rom. Both don't give an image on the TV. I tried it on SCART and RF. I wonder what the problem might be. Is there an IC at the jaguar that does the output for TV and might be damaged or something? I really don't know the problem.
  16. I think that commercial with Bill Clinton in it.
  17. You can get high res images op the logo etc. in the post somewhere below, where the other guy asks about it (I can't remember his name ).
  18. Ah sorry, It was some other name . JustClaws
  19. Ah finally, I'm watching it ^_^. Cool! edit: Very nice! BTW, linkovitch, are you Dutch and you live in England? Because at jagdev.org it says England and the Netherlands at your name.
  20. ****! I got to download it all over again! It dissapeared somehow .
  21. I have the perfect solution for you . Check the attachement! I don't have the jaguar itself, but do have this . (HQ Games is MINE! ) jaguar_high_quality.zip
  22. (*I'll get killed for saying this*) Does it matter? I never visit it, the forum is really bad imo. It should be like a phpbb forum, atleast something is easy to find in phpbb! At JI II it's hard to find a topic imo, a reply gets on top with a link etc. Really bad imho. I'm sure many people don't agree, but it's just my opinion. The content might be good, but the forum, the structure, itself is bad.
