Cool. I'll take a look at it. Don't know any assembly but it's always fun to look at a game's source code.
-
All I remember is a text scrolling over the screen. I really have no clue about not finishing the guy. I always did
. -
I have it. It's fun, but weird :-)
-
I got stuck around level 6 as well I think. I have it on Gameboy Color as well and that one was a bit more easier. Although I got stuck there as well :-)
-
I just got Attack of the Mutant Pinguins as well and couldn't finish the first level :-). But I'm going to try again. I also just got Power Driver Rally (which is nice) and Fever Pitch Soccer, which is OK although I'm not a soccer fan :-).
-
Could be possible though. My first Jaguar wouldn't play any game anymore. They would all turn red

-
What was Demon Gyaku's finishing move again? Was he spitting flames or something? I don't even remember. Did normal Gyaku (he was so cool :-)) even have a finishing move?
-
The Atari Jaguar box also has a image of a stage that isn't in the game. Why!
White ninja would've been cool :-).
Habaki was a horrible ninja by the way. They are supposed to be stealthy, undetectable by enemies... Why was he in orange? It doesn't make any sense. His finishing move was cool though. Chagi's was the best.
-
What about Alaric? He had his hands so close in front of his face I was suprised he could still see something :-).
Angus' level was sweet. The monster of Loch Ness was swimming in the background, flipping over the fishermansboat. Good stuff ^_^.
-
Oh come on, Kasumi Ninja isn't that bad. I played it a lot and it even got better when I found out that I shouldn't finish of Gyaku (or get killed by the explosion). Whole new character to fight against!

Hi,
Less than 2 weeks to go!Maybe I have my drivers license by then :-). Always wanted to attend ejagfest. Are you going? Anybody else from South Holland?
Cheers,
JustClaws.
I don't have my drivers license yet so I'm afraid I can't make it this year. Maybe next year though.

Hi,
Well as a strong pro-European, I understand what you mean!Since when isn't the UK part of Europe? You should take that option away imo. However, it's included because it's a different Jaguar sales region - so I should
really have included France as a different region too. Likewise I put USA and I
put Canada, because they had different markets conditions like UK and Ireland.
UK PAL Jaguars have different TV modulators built in compared to mainland Europe.
French Jaguars have only SCART (as France and Russia use the SECAM system).
NTSC Jaguars were the same across all regions, but different national distributors.
Cheers,
JustClaws.
What do you mean with the bold marked sentence? I thought that Canada was independent? At least not dependent of the United States of America?
Oh well, doesn't really matter though.
So, you still live in the Netherlands? We talked a while ago. So, can you finally speak some Dutch now? :-)

Kind of like some SNES games had that SuperFX (correct name right?) chip in the cardridge, but this is 10 times better
.Still a cool thing to upgrade a console like this ^_^.

Sweet :-) I'm very curious on how this develops

The game supports leaderbords. So if we exchange gamertags we could keep track of eachother scores

Sorry for kicking up an old topic, but I just wanted to say it got released today for a cheap 400MS points. I bought it and it's a lot like Tempest, although not the same! In T2K you get a jump powerup and you can jump as many times as you want. In SG you get jump pods, so you have to becareful when you use them. Because if you're out, you could be done for
. Another thing I like over T2K is that you're always shooting and this time you can change the direction you're shooting. The level structure looks a lot like T2K and even the enemies (I've played until level 11, there are 100 levels so who know's what's still out there :-)) look familiar. Those anoying spikes are also there. Remember the "Yes! Yes! Yes" with the pitch getting higher and higher? Well, it's in SG as well, although not as cool as in T2K.
Graphic effects are wicked and it's a cool experience. But, just like T2K, with everything that's going on it's hard to oversee what's happening. But I guess that's just part of the game.
So, who besides me got this game as well?
Oh, and next week Sensible Soccer on Xbox Live Arcade :-).
-
Indeed. I sometimes find it hard to keep up with it's speed. But still great fun though

-
This game, even faster???
-
There is no versus. The Jaguar is from another era.
-
I found out by accident
. Don't stand too close to him when you let him "fall". Cause else you die. And you have to beat him at hard or god mode. Wasn't that hard really. I always used Senzo or Tsubaki. Never really liked the other guys and couldn't fight with them that well. Angus was fun by the way

It's being developed for Xbox Live Arcade, which is available for you if you have a Xbox 360 connected to the internet.

Bought my units from Songbird and I use my PAL power supply. Works like a charm

Typhoon 2001 (T2K clone for PC) Anyone seen this?
