Isn't anyone curious about this game?
-
A remake/sequel of Sensible Soccer is being done. It's currently in developement for PC, Xbox and PS2. Once it's released I'll go check it out. I sort of liked the original so I wonder what things are similar, except for the camera .

Is Checkered Flag any worse than Virtua Racing?
Htbaa replied to superjudge3's topic in Atari Jaguar
Back in 1997, when I first got my Jaguar, I used to play this game all day long! The controls may seem bad, but I loved to beat my times and ride the perfect laps. It took a lot of practice to become real good and I used to score great times and I always drove perfect laps. This is one of the games that takes a lot of practice to master it. I don't think it's a bad game, it's a different game in it's genre. -
CF is great. I love it when you complete a mission, you see the survivers grief for the dead, after that they get rewarded by going up in rank. And the green hill, full of crosses and stones. roflmao. One of my favorite Jaguar games.

You really have to get NBA Jam T.E. It's a great and fun basketball game.
-
Yeah I've seen that one too. I already have all those games so there was no need for me to bid on the auction. Good luck with it

I never finished Rayman. I got stuck at a level where I'm being chased by some big stony guy. Atleast that's the last thing I remember . I will play the game soon again because I started with retro reviews for a Dutch gamesite. (Well, I haven't done anything yet ) And I totaly agree with you about the graphical look of the game. It's highly detailed and the style and animations are just great. You know, I've always liked the 2d Mario games, but this game was so more prittyer and challanging than the Mario games I played (all NES versions).

Yeah I'd really like a cd addon for mine, but I just can't see spending that much money for one. Is it really worth it? I mean for the fun to money ration I could go out and buy a ps2 for less. 888587[/snapback] Well, in my eyes it aint worth the money. You wont get one for less then $75 I think. And the games aren't that great. BIWN is cool to see because it shows what the Jaguar is capable off. Blue Lightening is funny too, but it's not that I can play it all day long. Myst, it aint my genre so that's a no go for me too. American Hero... Well, it's funny for a short while but once again not worth getting the CD Addon for. Maybe it's because I don't have the good games (yet) but for now, I'm glad I got 2 broken units for a fair price and was able to fix one up. But the games I have aren't that great at all .
-
Very nice! I can't read French!
-
Yeah I've seen this one. I already have 2 units (only one is working though) and I think this guy is too expensive. Anyway, I honestly don't understand why the CD Addon is so darn expensive... It hasn't given me a lot of yet . Maybe I don't have the right games yet?
-
Well, I don't think that's the problem. If I lift my Jaguar when booting a cd game then it'll spin, else not.
-
I have 2 units as well. But that was because I could get 2 broken units very cheap from Songbird. I managed to fix one, but it still has some spin problems. The other one spins my discs just fine, but doesn't read them.

When will you get a warning?
-
Come one, give him a break.

With the progam I was able to get back ALL of my digital pictures. But some iso's got lost.
-
I'm glad I was any help to you Starcat . Exactly, how big was the file recovery with my mentioned application? One other question, what file system was it? NTFS or FAT32?
-
Do Dell HDD's in the laptops fail a lot then? Then I should think of a backup plan soon! Starcat, I forget to say that the HDD I recovered was due to an issue in Windows removing it's format (NTFS). The drive did not crash. What applications are you using now to recover the data? Did you try the program I metioned?
-
I've always had problems with Seagate, but not with Maxtor. Sorry to hear this Lars, but I hope you will backup your data more often now. A data loss like this must slow the progress of your projects down a lot I think. Too bad. I've had somewhat the same with my brother's PC. Try this website: http://www.runtime.org/gdb.htm . I've used it for my brother's HDD. I got back ALL the data, except some big RAR files. I hope it will help for you! Edit: If you can get the data back with that program you need to buy a license to do it with a few clicks, else you just need to crack it. It worked for me, like a charm!
-
I had the same problem also. For me it worked pressing START, then A, B or C for setting the volumes of the sounds.
-
Well, with sports games you could play for the best scores. With race games you can compete with the best time. Lots of possibilities

I do not like the Firefox browser, I use the normal Mozilla browser. About the format of the image. Wouldn't a iso file be better? If i'm correct both Linux and Mac OSX can use that format. Anyway, I'll try to download it tommorow. But I just think it's strange to download something were you are not sure of what it's all about. Some more information would be nice.
-
NBA Jam T.E. Rayman And lots of more . Jaguar kicks ass, and you know it!
-
I'm not saying I could do it better. People could also use a specialized program for downloading files. These often give a higher download speed and you can resume. Still, one question isn't answered: What kind of movies are on it?
-
Thank you. What kind of movies are on it? I do not agree. I don't like to download 16 seperate files
