  1. Yes, that's one one of the drawbacks to a society as free as the WWW.
  2. I always thought he seemed a bit over-melodramatic with his posts. He hates the way Nintendo is treating him, but he doesn't want to hurt the company, Which I found slightly strange. He also wants to get it on a Nintendo system so badly, that he is more than willing to forgo the alternatives (homebrew, Releasing it on iPhone and/or Android instead, etc.) Even so, I hope his game gets published. Now that's one RPG I wouldn't mind playing. PS: To the guy making this: Stop whining about how Nintendo doesn't care about you. Anger clouds reason.
  3. Not bad. Nice if you like all-in one- units. 4. 5th gen, mainly because of all the fun experiments that were going on with 3D at the time. Fourth Gen comes in at a very close second. Lots of polished games from my two favorite genres, platform and scrolling shooter, were there.
  5. link He is sitting in a locked and barricaded room and developing his game for 100 days straight as protest to Nintendo for not letting him have the necessary tools to let him finish his game and get it published. He asked for the tools in february, and was told to wait 6-8 weeks for them to ship. They didn't. He is the one, lone developer of this game, and he has been working on it for five years. It's a little bit like Animal Crossing, only less creepy and more realistic.
  6. A platform game where you play as a Spider? Already been done. Check out Spider: The Video Game for the PS1. Sorry to be such a killjoy.
  7. Never was, unfortunately. Not even included on any compilations. I really wish Jeff Minter could work his psychedelic magic on it and make I, Robot+, but Atari just doesn't want to pay any attention to it.
  8. You know, guys, this argument has gotten REALLY old. Like they said in the book Anguished English: "Stop beating a dead horse to death."
  9. It's pretty much inevitable that downloads will take over. They're much cheaper to distribute. However, what really irks me about all download games is not so much that they don't have the nice tactical feel of boxed disc/cartridge media. It's more that they're less likely to be preserved than content on said discs or carts. It worries me that these games could basically be lost to time when the company either goes out of business, or moves to a new system. If (when) everything goes DLC, I'd still like to have a flash card slot to back up my games, so they can be played by future generations, instead of being lost forever. And if the whole system becomes rental or cloud based, that's even worse.
  10. Yeah that sucks dude. You had to expect it though. I swear, ANY Xbox 360 made in the first year of production....will break. End of sentence. Might be in 2 weeks...might be in 2 years....It'll break. Still, once you get you get your 360 back....don't waste your points on "premium" themes. I read that 85% of the units made AT LAUNCH had a critical problem with them that prevented them from working.
  11. I know. The GBA still has quite a few users, and third party developers just shouldn't have abandoned it as soon as they did.
  12. Hard Drivin' on the C64. Even for a port of a fully 3D arcade game to a computer that was sorely underequipped to play the game it was trying to run in the first place, it's hilariously bad.
  13. I'll have to look into this Here's a rough TA conversion for the start. That's soundin' pretty good, so far! You guys have done an amazing job with all of this. I can't wait to see the finished product.
  14. You can import it from Europe then, we're going to get it on disc. Of course feedback regarding that is mixed. A lot of People here are complaining that they have to pay at least twice as much for it now. Oh, good. I don't really care about that kind of stuff. I'm just glad it's getting released in a medium that ensures preservation.
  15. Wow. If this game is really as good as you say, then it must get a disc release. This is just too good to stay on a download service and be lost to potential future generations of players.
  16. I have a copy of Chip's Challenge that I bought from this website's store for an Atari Lynx I was ordering from another store (not eBay!). The lynx never came, and the game is still sitting on my bedroom shelf without a system to play it on.
  17. Really hoping this goes into mass production. I'd love to play this on my Channel F.
  18. I'd love to be able to play Sonic Megamix on that.
  19. DSFanboy reports that the screens will be expanded to 3.25 inches. They have some photos and diagrams (I assume from the media summit) showing the differences: http://www.dsfanboy.com/2008/10/02/nintend...s-nintendo-dsi/ Bigger yes but the same resolution? I guess I can assume so since the pic indicates New Super Mario Brothers is playing on both units. So in other words, I don't need to worry about next year's DS games not working on my old ancient DS Lite. What about the download system?
  20. Not to be rude or anything but the cart obviously wasn't actually tested. I see that you deal in volume so I understand how difficult it might be to try out each individual game but when something is listed as " GUARANTEED TO WORK PERFECTLY OR YOUR MONEY BACK!", most people would naturally assume that the cartridge was indeed tested and found to be fully functional. I know this happens a lot with many sellers. I've bought a good amount of carts that have supposedly been tested only to find so much crud on the contacts that there is no way on earth that the game ever would have booted up on any system. As for which system your game goes to I would have to say either the C=64 or A8, although with an alternate label. As mentioned above perhaps Australian. I can't seem to find an image of the C64 RR cart so I'm not positive if the label is like your or like the domestic A8 one. The only one I have found that where the label looks like the one in your auction is for the IBM PCjr. As seen in the picture below it's clearly not the same cart since they are shaped differently. Maybe you should've put that image in your post as an attachment before sharing it with us.
