    Do you know what's a good laundry detergent? Its called "Trend". I can get a big powdered box version of this product for $3.99 at my local variety store and it can clean just as good as Tide, Cheer, and even Gain! Its *HE* safe for today's washing machines and its own by the Dial corporation. The same company that makes Dial soap!

      Sounds like a bargain though I do not know who would carry that product.

      My wife makes her own laundry soap with Borax, castille soap, etc. It's cheap, concentrated and only requires about 2 teaspoons per load. It lasts forever.
