  1. You know what I used to like? Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia for Sega CD! Its a really good software for its time and helped me during my grade school years! The information is still useful on many topics and would like to see a new, up-to-date version on the Xbox One or PS4. Many would think it would be a waste of money and time though because of the internet!!

"Many would think it would be a waste of money and time though due to the internet!!" -- and they would be right, no point now when all the info and resources i online. Just like people used to have Encyclopedia Volumes and Family Medical books, just no point now.

I say there's still a place for printed reference books: you don't (or won't) always have the option of going online, and I find that the materials are usually of higher quality than their online counterparts, especially in older books.

But if you're already using electronic references, you might as well use the newest ones available, which are better than the ones we had on CD in the mid-90s (I was a Grolier and Encarta user back then).

Well, if nothing else, the UI for CD-ROMs is still much nicer than many online references.
