    Went recycling all my empty water bottles early this morning. Had 200 bottles at 5¢ each. Made $10 today!

      I don't bother with it here. We don't get anything and I'll be damned if I'm gonna do work for nothing. We used to, in fact it paid for some of my early Apple II peripherals. But not anymore.

      Water bottles getting a return? jeez I just recycle because it is the right thing to do. It would be AWESOME to get something back for that.

      Of course you realize you're paying more to buy the bottled stuff in the first place. I get around by that by taking my cans from RI (which doesn't have the deposit) to work with me and then it's a short drive over the border to Mass (which DOES have it) and dumping them into a machine in the supermarket. Win-win. :)
