I went into a local electronic store it see the latest HDTV's and couldn't believe that Quasar division from Panasonic is still around! My family had a Quasar VCR for over 20 years. Glad it see that brand.
Yeah, or Panasonic themselves, or nearly any other brand. They're complete low, low, low end entry level tvs now. It's a shame, as the Quasar brand deserves more than that, but it is what it is...
I actually have both brands of Samsung and Panasonic CRT units. Tough choice since I really think both are great Alex. But what your saying about buying a new Quasar unit, I'll certainly take it into consideration!
Yeah, it's a shame. The brought the name back from the dead just to make it a value brand. Glad I could help save yet another from this "brand". I got that set for 300 bucks. 55" 4K. Even at that price, not even close to worth it.
