      Without clicking on the link first, let me guess:

      1. Come out with a controller that doesn't make devs want to run away.

      2. Allow portable backwards compatibility with an add on or a built in cart slot

      3. MAKE GAMES. The first two years of the GC's life pumped out more 1st and 2nd party titles than the Wii U has enjoyed it's whole life.

      4. As bad as it seemed back then, the GC had 3rd party support. Many multi-plats came out on the system.

      5. Don't be stupid and pull a GC with online support. Even the Wii U is behind in nearly ever way, from on screen notifications to multitasking a game with a friend list at the same time, they need to implement features easily fount in other online communities.

      Totally agree MotoRacer - I think people forget that the GC had a lot of top-tier 3rd party support in the beginning. It certainly trailed off through the years, but it was pretty good early on.
