      i don't really remember like on the road- my mom had one in the mid 80s, though.  Powder blue!

      I worked with a guy that put a V-8 in one. He was a large individual too, about 300 lbs. He reinforced the frame, and took out the front seat (just like Officer Hightower in Police Academy)

      There's a guy nearby who has 2 of them as DD's.  They are cheap to keep on the road -- small carb'd 4 banger, manual tranny (if so equipped), and RWD.  Also sold as the Pontiac T1000.  My dad had a 1980 one for a couple years until he got a 1979 Plymouth Champ as his DD in 1986.  The Champ was FWD so better in the snow/ice.
