      Bought an LS1 when they first came out (2000 I think) - loved it!!

      If you are talking about the old S series cars, they are very reliable and sought after.  Good luck finding parts if you need them though.  I have worked for a few auto parts houses and S series parts are mostly obsolete now.  If you are talking about any of the newer models, they are basically just GM clone vehicles.  Reliability is on par with other GM vehicles and parts are mostly interchangeable.  Which model are you seeking out?

      My girlfriend had an SL she drove for 20 years. Very reliable car but we had to get rid of it after the fuel line broke and we couldn't find a replacement.
